No paid conversions shown in GA Multi Channel Funnel
-
For some reason paid conversions are not showing in the Multi Channel Funnel and nothing shows under the adwords tab.
What would be the reason?

John is on the right track. You must be autotagging or manually tagging your paid search spend. If you are manually tagging, you have to tell GA in the Admin section to allow manual overrides.
If you set up your goals in GA and import them into AdWords, this will help keep your conversion goals unified and solid.
If neither of these are issues for you, then you should double check your timeline, goal chosen, attribution method, and MCF tagging (as you can set up specific things like Brand Google Organic, NonBrand Google Organic, etc).

Did you turn on auto-tagging in Adwords, or put the UTM parameters on your ad URLs manually? That should fix the issue of Adwords info not showing up in your GA account. In GA, you have to set up your goals separately from Adwords. You can have them mirror your conversions in Adwords, but they won't be set up until you do it yourself.

Organic conversions
Hi, Is there any way (Analytics & other tools) how I can see where organic conversions come from? What search queries were used or at least what landing pages converted? Ideally, I would like exact search queries. I know I have list of these in GSC but not conversions. Analytics doesn't provide these so I cannot link them with conversions. Is there any realiable tool that is safe and won't use our data as benchmark or won't offer any form of transparency that will be useful for our competitors. Thanks. Katarina

Creating Goals in GA
Hi I don't know if the below can be done, and I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Ideally I want to capture the event of registering for an account. Ultimately I want to know which products, pages etc drive customer registrations but which do not lead to a purchase (Registered Not Bought). Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks Andy

Comparing user behaviour in GA
Hi Does anyone know, can advise a process, for how to compare user behaviour (time on page, bounce rate etc) for a major site section/category page that's changed its url since a new site upgrade (so effectively 2 different pages i presume) with the old page version (say comparing U.B between the two pages and between June this year vrs June last year) in Analytics / Cheers Dan

Linked my adwords account to GA and vice versa and still paid search is getting recorded into organic traffic??
Hi Mozzers, I have linked properly my adwords account to GA and vice versa and somehow I can see 3/4 of this paid traffic recorded to organic search. The most confusing part is that I can see 1/4 of the paid traffic under the "paid" metric. At this point I don't know really what should I do? Thank you guys in advance!

Understanding Source/Medium & Conversion Paths
I had always thought that the Traffic Source/Medium in all sections of GA shows last interaction, and the only way to see indirect conversions was through Multi-Channel Functions/Conversion Paths. However, the screenshots - shows transactions and conversion paths that resulted from an email campaign we've done recently. As you can see on the conversion path screenshot, there were 5 conversions (1 conversion type selected - ecommerce/transactions) 3 direct conversion or last interaction and 2 assisted conversions. However - according to the transactions screenshot - there are 5 transactions, all show up as email. I would have thought, that the transaction page would have only shown 3 email conversions - for the 3 direct/last interactions conversions seen in the conversion path. Any idea why this would happen? Was my initial understanding of traffic sources wrong? O7v3cTj.jpg aAPhd8e.jpg

Conversion Rate Question: Should I Measure Visits or Unique Visits?
When you measure conversion rates, is the equation: conversion rate = visits/conversions or conversion rate = unique visits/conversions I ask because it can actually make a pretty big difference in the conversion rate. For example, if you visit my ecommerce website 100 times before buying something (and assuming you're my only visitor), then my conversion rate is 100% _if I'm determining conversion rates by unique visits/conversions. _However, it's only 1% _if I'm determining conversion rates by visits/conversions. _Wow! Now this is clearly an extreme example, but it should serve to illustrate the point that in more reasonable cases, the way the data is measured can have a potentially significant impact on the conversion rate. Is there an industry standard for this? Am I missing something really basic? Also, here's a little bit of context for the question: I run an ecommerce website powered by the Magento CMS and I'm trying to measure my conversion rate in Google Analytics for individual products. Google Analytics shows me my site wide conversion rate, but apparently I have to do some customization in order to measure conversion rates on the product level. That's fine, but I want to make sure I'm measuring my product conversions in a standard way. Thanks for any and all help! Adam

Setting up GA to report on sub domains
I've just launched a mobile version of my site at m.mydomain.com. I could do with a bit of help just checking I've inserted my Google Analytics code correctly though. I've chosen the sub domain option from settings and pasted the code into both the mobile and the non-mobile version of my sites. However, am I right in thinking that the setDomain attribute should point to two different domains for example: _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', 'm.mydomain.com']); (for the mobile site) and: _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', 'mydomain.com']); (for the standard site) Thanks very much for your help!
