All of my blog titles have disappeared. In need of Wordpress help.
-
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but here it goes. All of the titles on my real estate website have disappeared. I have spent hours looking through different forums trying to figure out how to make them show up. Also whenever I hover the cursor over links they turn to white and disappear as well.
This is the website: http://www.acolerealty.com/blog/
If this helps here is the custom CSS in worpress is the following:
/* GREEN */
body {background: #eff3ec !important;}
.header-membership {
background: #fff !important;
box-shadow: none !important;
border-bottom: 2px solid #e5e9e3 !important;

Yes, change the color in places I've mentioned to whatever colors you want. Swap #fcf9f9 to whatever color.

Thanks so much for your help Dmitrii. I agree Im in over my head with the developing side of things, just trying to find a fix for this error I created by mistake.
Could you tell me what I would need to do to fix this? Change the color? Is there a code I need to add to the Custom CSS in wordpress. Or what i need to delete?
Thanks for your time much appreciated.

Hi there.
you have inline css code, line#173:
#content a:hover, #sidebar a:hover, .social a:hover, .member-bar a:hover, #home-search a:hover,.paging_full_numbers a:hover, .placester_properties a:hover, #content .person-name a, #content .post-title a,#sidebar .widget-title a {
- font-family: arial !important;
- color: #fcf9f9 !important;
_}_This is what makes anchors become invisible on hover.Exactly the same reason for your titles not showing up. because titles are links and they are that "white color. The same inline css - line #181.Cheers.P.S. I recommend you hire a front-end developer, who understands this stuff, otherwise you gonna waste countless hours scouting web for answers which don't exist.

Why is google truncating my title tag?
We are trying to figure out why the search result for the term "au pair" is not matching our designated title tag or anything on our page. If you search "au pair", please see the result for the domain interexchange.org. We do not see this problem with other search terms.

How do I change HTML title, and add H1 tags with Volusion? and why is it so hard!?!?! wordpress is WAYY better.
So I could go in depth with this and tell you all about the problems I have encountered with Volusion... but i'm not. I just need to help a client change the 7,000 product pages they have that have duplicated title tags, and no H1 tags. (probably one of the worst case of On-Page SEO set ups ever right? Shouldn't Volusion be built to help you do these types of essentials easily? Or (for the price) even better would be to do it automatically based on the product name??)

Help needed for a 53 Page Internal Website Structure & Internal Linking
Hey all... I'm designing the structure for a website that has 53 pages. Can you take a look at the attached diagram and see if the website structure is ok? On the attached diagram I have numbered the pages from 1 to 53, with 1 being the most important home page - 2,3,4,5, being the next 4 important pages - 6,7,8... 15,16,17 being the 3rd set of important pages, and 18,19,20..... 51,52,53 being the last set of pages which are the easiest to rank. I have two questions: Is the website structure for this correct? I have made sure that all pages on the website are reachable. Considering the home page, and page number 2,3,4,5 are the most important pages - I am linking out to these pages from the the last set of pages (18,29,20...51,52,53). There are 36 pages in the last set - and out of this 36, from 24 of them I am linking back to home page and page number 2,3,4,5. The remaining 8 pages of the 36 will link back to pages 6,7,8...15,16,17. In total the most importnat page will have the following number of internal incoming links: Home Page : 25 Pages 2,3,4,5 : 25 Pages 6,7,8...15,16,17 : 4 Pages 18,19,20...51,52,53 : 1 Is this ok considering home page, and pages 2,3,4,5 are the most important? Or do you think I should divide and give more internal links to the other pages also? If you can share any inputs or suggestions to how I can improve this it will greatly help me. Also if you know any references for good guides to internal linking of websites greater that 50 pages please share them in the answers. Thank you all! Separate IP Address for Blog
Our developers are recommending we sign up for a cloud based LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, & PHP) server to install 3rd party software (Wordpress). They said "the blog will be on a separate IP address and potentially can have some impact with SEM/SEO." Can anyone expand on what impact this might have versus having it on the same IP?

Multiple blogs for seo
I have signed up for some rather expensive lawyer directories that have very high domain PR, 's of 6 or 7 . Some of these allow you to make blog posts or articles on their site which should be good for SEO because of the high domain PR. I understand that if I do a lot of posts on one of these blogs with links back to my site, I should rapidly reach the point of diminishing returns because they are all coming from the same domain. Therefore, I plan to mix up my blo posts betwee several of these sites and also rewrite them and post them on my own site's blog. My question is this, if I post on any of these sites and I link back to internal pages of my site, and not to the home page, does this offset the "diminishing returns" factor? Paul
