Can I transfer my Moz Profile points to a new profile?
-
I've moved jobs and that meant changing emails and handing over my Moz account to the company. Afterall, it was the company that paid for the Moz account.
I was wondering if I could transfer my points/profile to a new one? Or is it a case of starting from scratch again?

Hi there! Tawny from the Help Team here. I wish I had better news for you, but unfortunately, there's no way to transfer Mozpoints to a new account. I definitely understand that you’d like to keep the Mozpoints created in the account. Unfortunately, Mozpoints are tied directly to the account they were created under and are owned by the account itself. Because of this, they cannot be transferred between accounts.
We consider the account owner to be the person actively paying the subscription fees. If your company has been paying for the subscription directly, or reimbursing you for the fees, they would be the owners of all information in the account, including any Mozpoints awarded.
I know that’s likely not what you want to hear, and I wish I had better news there! You can certainly check to see if your company is willing to allow you to keep this account, and they create a new one, though few are willing to do that. For users who find themselves in this scenario, we usually recommend that they strongly consider personally paying for the future subscription themselves, so that a move between companies won’t force another account creation.
I hope this helps explain. Sorry that we can't transfer your Mozpoints for you!

I have assigned a Moz Pro seat to someone but they can't access a campaign's rankings report?
Hi there, I'm the account admin on a Moz Pro account. I have assigned a seat to a freelancer who's doing some work for me and they say they can't access a campaign's rankings report? The manage user's section shows them as having a seat license? It's been issued and accepted by them? Any ideas here? Thanks

Received emails about new ranking, crawl and on page reports, but nothing new shows.
Yesterday morning I had emails about updated crawl, ranking and on page reports being available however nothing in my dashboard is newer than 2/21. I waited through yesterday to see if things changed, logged in and out etc but nothing new has shown up. Any ideas on why that is the case?

How do I access my Full SERP Analysis Report in the new Moz?
Another possibly dumb question... I ran a full SERP analysis report and had it emailed to me, but in the email there's no link to the report. I logged back into Moz, but I can't find the report anywhere. Thanks! BiDFIvG

How to force MOZ crawlers to search in the right area for local SEO
We do local SEO over here and so our keywords are always followed by a city name, like so: "auto repair+Springfield". If there's ever any confusion within SERPS which "Springfield" the searcher is looking for we can depend on Google to pull query location to assume it's the nearest to them (it does, and is usually correct). And furthermore, if the office ever needs to check for rankings by hand (we're not in Springfield), we just set the query location to "Springfield" and our results match their. However, MOZ doesn't set a query location. Which makes sense, I suppose, because their crawlers are up in the Bay. What I'm saying is that oftentimes there's a discrepancy between how MOZ tells me they rank, and how I see them ranking, the business owner sees them ranking, and how the customer finds them ranking. As such, we can't send them reports through MOZ 😞 Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Should the keyword be followed by a zip code instead of a city name? This seems like it would solve the location query problem but it may not provide the same results as service+city name.
