Is it possible to un-disavow a link if we later decide that it isnt spammy / undesirable ?
(i know best practice is to get it right first time, but worst comes to worst is it undo able ?)
-
Yes, you can easily do this. Here is a post from SEW that details this: https://searchenginewatch.com/sew/how-to/2409081/can-you-reavow-links-you-have-peviously-disavowed
Also, be careful with what you choose to disavow, as it can take Google a while to process these requests. What you don't want to do is get rid of good links, suffer a ranking loss, and then have to wait a long time while they re-process your request.

Hi there,
Absolutely - you can update your disavow file at any time in Google Search Console!
Just to reiterate your point - the effects that disavowing links has can be extreme and it takes some time to get back once you've made a mistake so proceed with caution.
all the best,
Sean

External Backlinks - Should I remove/disavow external blog posts done by SEO company?
Last year my company hired an SEO company to build backlinks for targeted achor text keywords. It turns out that they wrote average to below average blog posts that had content related to my business, but that were placed on odd websites, not related to my business. They did this for about one year before I fired them. Should I try to get each of those blog posts removed and then disavow them? If the external links back to my site are nofollow then it is my understanding that I don't really need to worry about them...is that accurate? Is it too risky to keep any external backlinked content alive when it is on a site that is unrelated to my business?

Does Google drop links from page rank N/A sources?
Hi Everyone,
Link Building | | AMA-DataSet
I've started doing some link analysis on one of my site that has over nearly 800 links in total (which I got from the webmaster tools downloading the latest links). When I go on to Google and use the "link:www.mysite.com" directive it will only display 12 links. Does this mean Google is only counting 12 links from the link profile? Iv checked the freshness of some the links it wasn't displaying within Google to check they hadn't all expired. Links from march 2013 still don't appear. This sites link profile has been untouched for at least a year now and is full of directories many of which have a page rank of N/A hence my question. (I'm surprised it hasn't been hit by penguin!) Thanks in advance.0 -

Are 36 links from one site to nested pages better than one link to the root domain?
I have a Driving School website www.1stclassdriving.co.uk. The site is structured geographically with 36 area pages, one

page per area post code and one page per Driving Instructor. I am trying to develop links and have found a site (da91 pa

wish. Is it best to just create one link to the root page or
should I create 36 individual links to each area page? - which is most valuable?0 -
