Moz error with domain and page authority if no www in my domain
-
Hello, so our domain is website.com and we do not use www in our domain. Now moz shows our page authority as huge (website. Com) and domain authority very low. But our domain is our page that we rank. Is this due to the fact that we use no www and we rank our main index page? Am I correct? Thanks!

Start by getting things in order in Google Search Console. You should add both non-www. and www. properties to your site. When both are verified you can set your preference (in this case, non.www.) Otherwise, "If you don't specify a preferred domain, we may treat the www and non-www versions of the domain as separate references to separate pages" and risk issues down the line with duplicate content.
See here for details about setting your preferred domain: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/44231
If, as I read your follow-up post, you're saying all of your links point to the www. version of your site then this could be the source of your problems.
You need to organise your domains within Google Search Console. Then determine where all of the inbound links and authority are headed and set your preferences within GSC accordingly. You can use 301 directs when things have settled down but don't rush and make mistakes as a result.
You can work through GSC documentation here, then follow the appropriate action for your scenario.

I hope that helps and good luck!

Or am i undestanding something incorrectly? Because all links point to my "domain" www.example.com yet the index page has a lot higher authority then the domain. Am i looking it the other way around? Should i link to my other pages aswell, which would then increase my overall DA?

Can you do custom date comparisons in Moz?
The only options I see in the tab is weekly and monthly. What if, for example, I wanted to compare stats over a 3 month period? Or compare stats from the same month last year? Is that possible? Or even the stats from the beginning of a campaign? Do you have to manually track them?

Why is my Domain Authority 1?
I own the site http://www.artofwar.cc/ I have a 301 redirect rule in place to direct all non-www traffic to www. The site is about 10 years old. We're ranked in the top 20 in Google for around 20-40 search terms that I know of. Google Webmasters lists us as having in excess of 10000 backlinks (though many are subdomained duplicates). Majestic reports 1269 external backlinks, with the best trust/citation flows being around 40/100. Majestic also reports 39 referring domains. I'm working through crawl errors at the moment. The main high priority ones are 4xx errors, due to the fact that I changed some URL redirect rules a month back and am slowly getting round to changing internal backlinks in the forums. There are no 5xx server errors, which I would think is the most likely reason Rogerbot might fall over crawling the site. Rogerbot has no issues crawling, I've set it up in the phpBB section of the site as a registered bot, and it logs in and crawls for long periods when I manually trigger a crawl. Can anyone explain why the site might still be at DA 1?

Why does Open site explorer only show a fraction of the linked Domains that Google does?
One of my sites ( http://www.georgerossphotography.com ) shows 19 root domains and 155 links on Open Site Explorer. This doesn't pass the sniff test with me and when I look at Google Webmasters they show 120 domains with 1,870 links. I am assuming that Google use it's own data for ranking purposes which makes me question the validity of Open Site Explorer? Am I missing something ? I have been using OSE as my primary tool and now I feel that it has little value. I would appreciate any feedback. George.

Inbound Links Sorted by Linking Domain
Hi All -- Does anyone know if it is possible to generate a report (or is there a setting) to have the OSE inbound links report sorted by OSE linking domain? Ideally, the report would create a second column in the "Inbound Links" report with "Linking Domain" and then you could create a nice report that cross-tabbed the links. While you could do some excel text manipulation to do this, does anyone know if it's possible to do through the report generator? Thanks, Matt

Open Site Explorer not detecting linking domain on my site
So I was using Open Site Explorer to analyze my domain authority and page authority as can be seen here. My site has been covered by some press and in the article it actually links my site. Some of the articles can be seen on, here, here, and here. Any idea why none of these articles are detected as a linking domain to my site? Is there something that I am doing wrong?
