How To Optimize A Page For Multiple Keywords
-
Hi Guys,
In this video by Brian Dean he talks about how to go about optimising for multiple keywords.
He basically said the main factors for optimising a page for multiple keywords are the following:
- Identify other keywords with same search intent as your primary keyword.
- Add them to title tag strategically, don't stuff them in there.
- Add as many of those keywords as h2 tags into the content, again when it makes sense.
Are there any other more advanced ways you can use to optimize a page for multiple keywords with same search intent that could be good?
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Cheers.

Why has my home page replaced my sub-category page for set of keywords? Happened 2x in last 2 weeks for day or so only to fix itself. What is going on?
Today I noticed a really weird problem. Our LED Step Lights page (https://www.pegasuslighting.com/led-step-lights.html) has been replaced in the search results with our home page. See screenshot below. As I started to research what was going on, I noticed that this same thing must have happened on January 26 and 27 because in my Analytics I can see that our LED Step Lights sub-cat page had a sudden drop in traffic on those two days only to bounce back again on the 28th. See screenshot below. Our LED Step Lights page has had no changes in content, meta information, or anything in months. We have done no recent link building to this page in years. I don't understand what is going on. This is a popular page for us generating decent traffic. I really don't understand what is going on or even how to try and resolve this problem. I checked our Search Console. No messages. No manual web spam actions. Nothing to suggest that anything is going on except for the weird drops in traffic. Has anyone ever seen this happen before? Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be going on? serp-led-step-lights.png organic-traffic-drops.png search-console-led-step-lights.png

Multiple Author Rich Snippets On A Q&A Forum Page
Hi, I work on a site that has a robust q&a forum. Members post questions and other members answer the questions. The answers can be lengthy, often by experts with Google+ pages and almost always by multiple member/commenters answering a particular question. Much like Moz's forum here. In order to get rich snippets results in search for a single Q&A page, what would happen if each of, for instance, 10 commenters on a page, were tagged as author? After all, the q/a forum pages have many authors, each as author of their own comments. Or, should I pick one comment out of many and call that member/commenter the author or something else? If it matters, the person asking the question in the forum is almost always not the expert providing a ton of detailed content. Also, a question might be 8 words. One answer might be 25 to 500 or more and their might be 5 to 10 different answers. Thanks! Cheers... Darcy

Incorrect cached page indexing in Google while correct page indexes intermittently
Hi, we are a South African insurance company. We have a page http://www.miway.co.za/midrivestyle which has a 301 redirect to http://www.miway.co.za/car-insurance. Problem is that the former page is ranking in the index rather than the latter. The latter page does index occasionally in the same position, but rarely. This is primarily for search phrases like "car insurance" and "car insurance quotes". The ranking was knocked down the index with Penquin 2.0. It was not ranking at all but we have managed to recover to 12/13. This abnormally has only been occurring since the recovery. The correct page does index for other search terms like "insurance for car". Your help would be appreciated, thanks!

Keywords repetition in both post/page title+url path or spread between both of them?
Hello all, I have one doubt concernig SEO optimization as I am buiding the structure of my website to be sound with the Keywords I am targeting: I have read that the post/page name is very important (selecting the right keywords you are targeting and the lenght) and also the url path name, taking into account both keywords+lengt. I still have the doubt if (Imagine I am considering 5 keywords for SEO.): 1) OPTION 1 I should use as far as it is possible, the 5 keywords in the post/page title and repeat the 5 same keywords in the url path name? OR 2) OPTION 2 I should use these 5 keywords spread between title and url path? I mean maybe I use 3 keywords in the post/page name and 2 keywords in the url path, but my main concern is as search engines gives more weight in SEO for post/page name rather than to the url path name, maybe I will miss 2 of the keywords I used in the url path name? My choice would be OPTION 2 as I can have: Shorter post/page name - Shorter url path name. More caracters for targeting the keywords: 75 (from post/page name) + 115 (from url path name). I avoid repetition of keywords in both title and url path. Thank you very much, Antonio

Why is google ranking me higher for pages that aren't optimised for keywords those that are?
I am finding that our homepage and other pages are being ranked higher against keywords that we have optimised other pages for. e.g Keyword: Luxury Towels Google Ranks our homepage http://www.towelsrus.co.uk at 20 for this and the page I am trying to rank for it is nowhere to be seen http://www.towelsrus.co.uk/sport-spa/luxury-towels/catlist_fnct498.htm Why is this and is this why our position for certain keywords fluctuates? How do I remedy this problem?

Why my own page is not indexed for that keyword?
hi, I recently recreated the page www.zenucchi.it /ITA/poltrona-frau-brescia.html on the third level domain poltronafraubrescia.zenucchi.it by putting it on the home page. The first page is still indexed for the keyword poltrona frau brescia . But the new page is no indexed for that keyword and i don't know why ( even if the page is indexed in google ) .. I state that the new domain has the same autorithy and that i put a 301 redirect to pass his authority to the new one that has many more incoming links that did not have previous .. i hope you'll help me thanks a lot
