Opensite Explorer CSV Problems

I'm getting a few formatting errors in the CSVs I export from Opensite Explorer, after I've opened them in Excel. Specifically, in an Inbound Links export, there are several merged fields creating new rows. This seems to be caused by line returns in the Title column. At the moment I'm sorting these all out by hand, but it's a bit of a chore when there are lots of records. However it has to be done, because you can't sort of filter properly otherwise.
Has anyone else had similar problems. If so. I'd really appreciate any tips to a) stop it happening, of b) speed up / automate the process of cleaning up the CSVs.

I think this might be user error!
The problem only seems to occur if I import the CSV into an exisiting Excel spreadsheet. If I directly open the same CSV in Excel then it formats as expected.
So my mistake it seems. Sorry for wasting anyone's time!

I have the same problem, I think it can be the commas, but the way I choose to solve it is open it in numbers with a macbook pro...
If somebody know how to solve these problems, please respond to this post!

Backlink profile from Open Site Explorer does not seem to update
I have been monitoring our backlink profile on Open Site for over a year now and despite getting a number of new domains linking to us they are not reflected in the tool. Our URL is: www.BlueLinkERP.com Any thoughts on why this might be the case? The number of linking domains also seems very low compared with other tools we use (i.e. HubSpot)

I have corrected the Problems in Crawl Diagnostics. When would it refresh/ re-crawl my site ?
I have corrected most of the problems shown in crawl diagnostics and changed the meta desc. , titles etc. When will SEOMOZ recrawl those pages and show that Its correct now ?

What software can I use on my Mac to open and read a SEOMoz CSV exported file?
I do not want to buy XL or Pages just to read the CSV from SEOMoz. So I bought an app on the AppStore... and this app is unable to read the CSV from SEOMoz. Since I already wasted $2, Id rather avoid to waste more (and avoid that to others too!). What software is recomanded to open these CSV files? Also, I tried Google Docs, but I bumped in their 400K cells limit 😞

Factoring in OBL to Open Site Explorer
Morning all - I've been using Open Site Explorer a fair bit since I signed up to SEOMoz a couple of months ago and found it to be a little different to other tools in the past, so would welcome some thoughts on what I should be looking for when I run reports. For example, I've always thought that Outbound links should be important when deciding whether to place a link on a a particular site, but in OSE I'm only given a Page Ranking and a Domain Ranking. Am I therefore to understand that these two factors outrank OBL and that the number of links on a page don't matter? Or have these been factored into the overall Page rank already? HTTPS site in Open Site Explorer
I'm looking at a site for which the https URL currently ranks in Google. Using a header checker on the http URL I see that it is being 302 redirected to the https version (I have no control or input on this site). In OSE there's no option to specify an https URL as the http part is pre-populated and uneditable. My question is: does OSE treat the https and http version as the same URL? I'm guessing so as the http URL has a lot of domain authority despite not being the "default" URL.

Why does open site explorer show me Chinese characters?
Hi there, When using open site explorer to check the anchor text for www.bookvictoriafalls.com I see Chinese characters as anchor text. However, when I do the same for www.bookvictoriafalls.com/ I see normal English anchor text. Coincidentally this domain has dropped from first page rankings to outside the top 50. OSE Linking Domains CSV Export Blank?
For some client domains, I've tried to do a CSV export from the OSE Linking Domains page, I get a CSV that contains the typical OSE header text, but no output records. Before I click the CSV link I always choose "show domains with links to All pages on the Root Domain". It doesn't happen with every domain I've tried this with, and when I've had the time/patience, some of the time if I try hours later, I get data. The problem though is I rarely have the luxury of running reports a second time during the audit cycle. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug, or just an export fail due to system resources or something?
