Hi Harry,
Partial anchor text is a way that someone would link to you, not what you publish on your site. It's not something you can control or influence by what you publish on your site, beyond the general site theme.
-
Harry ,
Partial anchor text is primarily for external link building . The rationale behind using this tactic in conjunction with exact match anchors is that people link to your site differently and hence a myriad of anchor texts appear more natural . Although exact anchor text still works an anomalous amount of the same exact anchors might trigger flags and could possibly devalue that exact phrase. For your keyword targets some examples of partial anchors are :
lovely diamond earrings , beautiful diamonds, engagement rings , design your own engagement rings, diamond ring settings.
There is a video that talks about this here. Hope this helps

Have any suggestions for next steps in link building campaign?
We are conducting SEO and white-hat link building campaign for a client that is in the national (US) fertility/infertility niche. So far we've done outreach to potential websites that we found to be a good fit for the campaign, although the conversion rate for getting Guest Posts, even Sponsored Posts is quite low. Furthermore, the number of these potential websites is close to running out and it's getting harder to find other websites with relevant metrics that are outreach-worthy. Besides Guest Post/Sponsored Post outreach, we've done Link Reclamation, Resource Links and Broken Link Building. Also, we tried expanding the list of keywords to try and come up with some new leads (in sub-niches) but haven't had much success. One peculiar thing that is happening when we do start a communication with the blog/website owners is that they get interested in the topic at first, up to the point of asking us to send them a Guest Post article and then.. silence, no response from them. We do a couple of follow-ups, but in most cases we don't hear back from them. We realize that there could be some editorial changes that they might want to be done, which we would be willing to do, but they just simply do not respond at all. When talking to other people in the SEO business we get different opinions on how to proceed, ranging from creation of web 2.0 properties and linking them up with video content and the client website, to even creating SEO link wheels. We are quite committed to our client and would love to get their site ranking, but we're reluctant to use tactics that might yield only short term results and might end up hurting the rankings on the long run. Other part of our strategy is creating quality content on our client's blog (within their website) and doing outreach to bloggers to get them interested in the topics that we are covering. So far these efforts have also not been very successful. Basically, my question is when you are doing a link building campaign for a client, what is your next strategy when the link opportunities run out?

Data or Examples of a Negative Impact of Sitewide Links
Hi! Does anyone have any data or examples that show a negative (or positive) impact from "too many" sitewide links? Ahref's tool shows the ratio of sitewide links to non-sitewide links. I have seen a website with 97% sitewide links rank very well in a vertical while a website with 0% sitewide links also ranks very well.

Exact match and Penguin
After penguin, exact match keywords are not supposed to be used too much, in case you are selling a product and you are backlinking for its product page. Does this mean that exact match keyword for that product should also not to be used much. Or its just about website. For example i have a product named as "Test Product" and for it i have a keyword "Test Keyword", should i always use Test keyword to provide backlink to this product or should i use brand name as well or variant ot this keyword in anchor text. What do you suggest?

Exact match domains and overuse of exact match anchor text
If your domain name is a exact match keyword and you have a really high percentage of your links with the anchor text of that keyword, are you at high risk of getting penalized by Penguin or does Google's algorithm adjust for this. For example if your site name was AuethenticBaseballJerseys.com and people usually linked to your site at "Authentic Baseball Jerseys". Thanks!

Example: is this what Penguin is designed to stop?
And this is what is outranking me in my niche. http://www.bestwarsawhotels.com/ (look all the way on the bottom). Is this exactly what Penguin was designed to stop?

Exact Match Domain Names
Basically without a doubt having a exact match domain name is a massive benefit. If you targeted a keyword with 2 different sites one with an EMD and one without, I could quite easily expect the EMD to pop up page 1/2 and the non EMD site to be 10 pages deep. I'm going to be honest, I hate how much weight is put on the EMD, Domain brokers are focused on purely finding these, buying them up and selling them way above there worth. Google needs to realise this is a massive problem because I see sites with great content, great moz trust and rank being outranked by a EMD that sits on a squeeze page. Question: If no link building was taking place on the EMD site, lets say it ranked page 2, position 4 but you was linking building on the NON EMD how long to get it up to the EMD site?

Building Links to Exact Match Domains
What are the pros and cons having exact match domain and how can you create a brand name and build backlinks? Say we have a domain personalizedbirthdaygifts.com We are quite stuck with what anchor text we need to use and how do we vary it? I've heard that we have to stay away from using commercial keywords as anchor text heavily. We have to also use our brand name. And here we get stuck as we don't have a brand name. In this case Our brand name should be personalized birthday gifts but this is also commercial keyword. I have seen before similar websites droped from ranking because they have commercial keywords in their domain and most of their backlink anchor texts are commercial. If I had a website called twentyfive.com selling birthday gifts it would be a lot easier. But when you have a website personalizedbirthdaygifts.com and trying to rank for personalized birthday gifts and birthday gifts it's tough. OR isn't it? I hope I explained it well and didn't confuse anybody... Thanks
