Can You Recommend An SEO Consultant To Support Our Panda Recovery Efforts?
-
Hi,
I'm looking to find an SEO consultant to help me review my organic search strategy following the recent Panda update.
Can you recommend somebody?
Thanks,
Adam

He is an example of someone who by providing useful information and actionable insight for free to others in the field has gained a lot of "fans".
I follow him on Twitter and he doesn't just share the links that every other SEO is retweeting he also comments about his own experiences with clients and their sites. He also likes a good SEO rant which can be entertaining to read.

Interesting that on an SEO site, there is one guy recommended above all others. He must be one hot cookie! And in this case he will be booked not for 3 months but til the edge of time...
-
Where are you based, what is your market, what is your problem?
-
I also recommend Alan. No matter who you get, if they don't ask you to make sacrifices or do a lot of hard work then you have the wrong person.
-
Me?!
Jokes apart, Alan Bleiweiss is phenomenal, but, if I remember well, for the next 3 months he is fully occupied.
I suggest you also to check out Distilled, that has actually two offices in the USA (Seattle and New York)
-
Agreed, Alan has set him self apart as an expert and would surely be able to provide you some good advice. He recently spoke at SMX advanced in Seattle and it was really useful information. Give him a shot. There is also a wonderful Whiteboard Friday that Rand Fishkin just did discussing how SEO has changed since the Panda update. This might be helpful as well.
-
lol thumbs up for that... have a look at Alan's stuff through-out here and you can tell he's hardcore SEO to the bone

Can Yoast plugin change back old title automatically?
I have a problem with the first page on my website. Im using Wordpress and Yoast SEO plugin. After I have changed and updated some information on the page, I also wanted to change and make a better page title. That I understand is to be changed under pages, by scrolling down to the Yoast setting for the specific page. Is that right? However, I have changed the title over and over again, and asked Google to re-index the page. Everything is fine directly after that. But when I check again after 24-48 hours, the page have automatically changed back to the old title? How is that possible? I´ve tried about 5-10 times, but it does the same thing after 24-48 hours every time. Hope you people with great knowledge can help me out here. 🙂

What we can understand from decrease in % of New Sessions year to year in Google analytics.
Hi, As per Google analytics, we are loosing around 15% of new sessions every year comparing to the previous. But the sessions are increasing. Good that sessions increased; but new sessions are getting reduced. What exactly we can understand from this scenario? Thanks

Google Panda July 2016
Hi Does anyone know what impact the recent slow Panda roll out may have? Obviously content, but would it perhaps include engagement/user behaviour factors regarding your on page content too? Thanks

Can you rank without spending lots of money?
Hello Everyone, This is a general question, and its one I have been thinking about recently because I am working on promoting couple of websites. I want to know if it is still possible to make websites rank consistently without spending lots of money. I am self employed, and 5 or so years ago, I remember I did all my own link building/content for about 6 or so websites that I owned, and I managed to make most of them rank consistently. I am not in the SEO business, and I have not touched any SEO type of work for about 5 years now. And I always did it for my own websites/business. I know this is a fast moving industry, and my general knowledge may be a bit out of date. I kind of get the feeling that the days of when small business owners could make a website rank on a shoe string budget and make a bit of money with an online business may have died or is dying. I am a realist and I know that only a very tiny percentage of websites make really good quality/fresh content that everyone wants to reads. I know a common advise is that you should create a site with such amazing content that everyone talks about you and mentions/links to you without you even to need to do any link building. But in my opinion (I could be wrong), but I feel that this probably happens to less than 0.01 percent of websites. And I also know even third rate websites with blogs or content sites charge to post an article with a link. So this makes me think that nowadays you need a good budget and plenty of time to make a website rank. Am I wrong? In today's internet, do you need to spend money to rank? I genuinely want to know peoples experience and or opinion on this subject. Thanks.

Need some Real Insight into our SEO Issue and Content Generation
We have our site www.practo.com We have our blog as blog.practo.com We plan to have our main site in a months time from now as www.ray.practo.com The Issues - I will then need to direct all my existing traffic from www.practo.com to www.ray.practo.com Keeping in mind SEO and also since I will be generating new content via our Wordpress instance what are the best ways to do this so that google does not have difficulty in find out content 1. Would it be good if I put the Wordpress instance as ray.practo.com/ blog(wordpress instance comes in here in the directory) / article-url 2.Would it be better with www.practo.com / ray / blog/article-url I am using wordpress to roll out all our new SEO based content on various keywords and topics for which we want traffice - primary reasons are since we needed a content generation cms platform so that we dont have to deal with html pages and every time publish those content pages via a developer. Is the above - what soever I am planning to do in the correct manner keeping SEO in mind. Any suggestions are welcome. I seriously need to know writing seo based content on wordpress instance and have them in the urls is that a good idea? Or is only html a good idea. But we need some cms to be there so that content writers can write content independently. Please guide accordingly. Thanks

How important are links after Panda
I have noticed that the sites in my niche that were at the top of the SERP's are still at the top of the SERP's after panda. I have also heard people theorizing that links are no longer important, its now all about bounce rates, time on site, etc. Is there any consensus about how important links are after Panda? thx Paul
