Google Webmaster not accounting for internal links
-
Hi SEO gurus!
All my websites in GWT show the website in question at the top of the "Links to your site", in the form of:
Domains Total links my-site.com 1,000 third-party-1.com 500 third-party-2.com 300 third-party-3.com 200 etc.com 100 However, I have a specific account that suddenly (a few weeks back) disappeared its own link count:
Domains Total links third-party-1.com 500 third-party-2.com 300 third-party-3.com 200 etc.com 100 Has this happened to any of you? Any ideas how to solve it?
The website is www.gmvbodybuilding.com which you can see has plenty of properly formed links.

What a terrible "asker" I am that disappeared for 5 days.
James: My concern is not that the site itself is broken but that Google is not picking up all the anchor links that we so painfully sprinkled everywhere pointing within internal pages. So I am not so concerned about the report itself but rather that it is the reflection of a deeper problem in how Google is spidering my site?

So did you loose a site wide link on a big website?
I would advise to use your own link tracking tools like Raven for example to monitor link building yourself, when you rely on other tools like GWT or OSE it will never be 100% even though it is pretty accurate.

Any issues with Google impressions dropping in Webmaster Tools?
I'm seeing a drop in impressions across all my websites that are hosted at a certain location. Just wanted to make sure that it is not some reporting issue that others are seeing.

Google Analytics: Multi channel funnel
Hi 🙂 I have a little problem. In Multi-channel Funnel Overview I see 50 conversions from Paid Search (screenshot 1). But when I click on Assisted Conversion and then choose Paid Search, I see 31 Assisted Conversions and 32 Last Interaction Conversion. (screenshot 2) So my question is - why the number of converstions in overview (50) is different than number in Assisted Conversions (assisted or last interaction conversion, or both together)? Probably, the answer is so simply, but I can found out it! 🙂 thanks a lot. X6UihL7.png lCNsw4T.png

Mobile Site on Google Analytics
Hi mozzers, We just launched a mobile site and I was wondering what are the main steps to follow for gettting your mobile site tracked via GA (m.example.com)? We have a profile for www.example.com GATC: javascript or PHP to install? Should the profile be on a subdomain? What else to consider when implementing a mobile site on GA? Thanks

Google Analytics - multiple counters
Hey there Mozzers! One of our customers wants to seperate one Google Analytics account into multiple accounts. The website is divided in three parts: Main: www.website.nl Sub1: www.website.nl/sub1 Sub2: http://www.website.nl/sub2 And they would like 4 different reports under one account. R1: Total count R2: Website.nl (without Sub 1 & Sub2) R3: Sub1 R4: Sub2 I know multiple counters will get in conflict with each other, so I have to implement some filters. E.g: We can configure a filter for R3 on "astmakids" in URL. My question is: is there a safe way to implement multiple Analytics filters on one website? And how will R3 see visitors that come from the root domain astmafonds.nl? Are they referrals? Thanks a lot in advance!! Partouter

Does an internal link inside an iframe result in a bounce?
We built a landing page with a wufoo form. Inside the wufoo form is a link going to another page on our website. We are wondering if clicking on that link will result in a bounce since it is in an iframe. We are using google analytics.
