About Paid Ads/links - Question
-
My name is Benny, i am writing here from account of my uncle, because he is a pro member, and i am a student dont have money to pay premium package.
Now,
I have placed some ads/links on a strong domains, for about 8 months, i paid always, but about 6 weeks i was sick, on hospital, and i have forget to renew the links, and now are removed, and ranking down too.
My question is, can i restore the links with same anchors on the same places again on the same sites, or what to do? it's this danger if a link was for a 6 weeks down, and now again to re-place, some of them are 3-4 weeks, and some 6 weeks, it's this danger to replace again or not?
What do you suggest me?

Hi Anthony, he had down more than 200 rot domains, all via natural way, with houndred of typer of link building methods, from seomoz guide, etc, but he had about 10 domains, from paid domains, he think it would be better to pay this links, and every month to cancel 1link.
For example, i have 10 Backlinks from 10 different sources/paid.
Now, i must build 10 new natural backlinks, and than to cancel one paid backlink, this is much better than to cancel all at a time.
What do you think? if we can use for some months in the future, and with a time to cancel one by one?

Welcome to the forum, Benny. The answer to your question is that you can probably replace these links and have the value come back, and you may regain your rankings.
I have to caution that this still may only be a temporary patch. Link buying is a big no-no as far as Google is concerned, and their Webspam team is working every single day to find and bust websites that sell paid links. Even if these links are still working now, there's no guarantee that will be true in the future.
The REAL ANSWER to your question is that you shouldn't renew these paid links, or any paid links. Spend your time and money to build good, high quality links from relevant websites for free. You'll never have to renew these links and they'll stick around forever. Learn proper link building techniques and you'll never have to spend another dollar on a link and your rankings will be better than ever.

Should I ask sites that link to me to update links that redirect?
I have found some links to my site that go through a single 301 redirect to get to my site. Should I contact these websites to ask them to update the link, or is that not worth the time?

Question about links on blogs
I have a number of blogs, but I'll use this one as an example: http://www.totalpackers.com/. If you look in the left column, we have "friends" links and "more Packers" links. In every case, these were links that we traded or links to our own sites. We get traffic from a number of these sites because of the link exchange, but I'm worried having these is hurting our SEO (as well these sites posting our links). It's crossed my mind that I should remove all these links from our site and ask that our links be removed from their sites. Would that be overreacting? Or is this something I should do? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks, Monty

Link Building
I'm having difficulty creating a solid link base. I would prefer to only have links that are on relevant sites that are likely to drive traffic rather then just adding my company page to site directories. I've checked out the whiteboard Friday edition of link building and have also used the new Moz analytics that helps recommend sites to link to, but all the recommendations were directories. So, could anyone hold my hand and guide me through the world of Link building? Your help, as always, is much appreciated. Thanks everyone Dave

When do my links show up?
For the last two weeks I have been working on linkbuilding. I have downloaded competitors link reports and started contacting or submitting links. In the last two weeks I have gotten about 50-60 or so. In the newest report it shows I went up four c-blocks. Why is that? It is kind of discouraging.

Link building
I have two separate websites on different servers and was wondering that since reciprocal links effectively eliminate each other, I'm curious if this link strategy will keep the links counting. Here's the strategy: I will have someone link to my site A and if i link to their site from my site B in a three way link strategy, will the links count even though both my site A and B have me listed as the Whois so Google knows that both sites are owned by me? Or will the links be discounted as reciprocal? Thanks in advance for your feedback! Take care, Ron

Question on Links from Directories…
Hello,
Link Building | | inhouseninja
When I do an OSE back link analyses of some sites that are listed in some directories we are considering, for almost all the directories and companies in them, the directories are listed in the OSE report, listed as followed, and usually have decent domain rank and page rank. So this means that the link from the directory is obviously being picked up by OSE and it’s listed as a followable link. My question is just because the link is picked up by OSE does that mean that the search engines value it too? Or could Google see the link ok but throw it out of the equation, presumably because it does not “like” the directory? Hope this makes sense
Thanks!0
