How long will it take for the link analysis to be updated?
-
In an effort to evaluate SEOmoz I started off my free trial with a fresh website that I am going to get to rank on the first page and hopefully to the #1 spot.
I have been link building and changing the website around a lot. When I created the website hosted by HostGator with wordpress installed I marked down where it showed up the first time. After checking for many days to about the 100th spot I found it in spot 65. I have since then been spending some time (not a ton of time, but enough) guest posting, some bookmarking, press release creation and some other odds and ends stuff.
The page has gone up to 23rd but there have been no signs of any work done on the link analysis.
So, How long does it take?

Linkscape, the data source for Open Site Explorer, was just updated on November 2nd. It is normally updated once/month but the SEOmoz team is working to enhance the process which can affect the update timeline.
The crawler sees the top 25% of webpages. It does not crawl 100% of the internet. For the most part, if the SEOmoz crawler does not see the link, it does not have much (if any) value. If you built the links prior to November, then they should be visible in the next update.
Bookmarking can be very valuable if the bookmark is used and visible. For example, if you get your bookmark to the front page of a site and it is promoted in any way. If you simply add a bookmark which is otherwise not used and located on a buried page, it likely has no value.
A Press Release which is offered by PRWeb or other reputable companies and is picked up has value. Some press releases are simply not seen or valued.
If you can earn links from quality, reputable sites then those links will be quickly found by Linkscape, and even faster by Google. Links from a site's home page, or links from a strongly reputable site from a popular web page are helpful. One strong link is often worth more then 100 random links. Go for quality.

I received an email that my on page analysis for my campaigns were completed. But when I click on the link there are no grades there. What does that mean? Another question on this topic....when your campaign is graded are pages graded on all the keywords in the campaign or is each keyword graded invidividually? Thanks!

In OpenSiteExplorer - how do I find out which in bound links were lost?
http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/www.homefinder.com/a!links The # of inbound root domains is ~3,100 and has remained relatively flat for a while yet we've been acquiring 1000's of new root domains that link to us. That said, we want to get some clarity on why the count has remained flat. It would be helpful if we could see which domains have stopped linking to us from one OSE index to the next. Is it really the case that we're losing links as fast as we're gaining them or is something else going on?
