What does the New Frontier of Search Look Like? (Mobile and Tablet)
-
I'd like to start a discussion thread on the direction of search as it applies to mobile and tablet.
Jeff Haden, one of our Inc.com contributors, wrote an article headline stating that SIRI would be the end of SEO. However, what the article really talks about is the direction mobile search is likely to take:
1. Search results will be bypassed
2. Even more emphasis on local
3. PPC will be irrelevant
4. Emphasis on social media
I think these insights are fairly intuitive and it will be really interesting to see how the medium for mobile and tablet develops. It will be interesting to see what technologies will shape the means by which users find information and not just the search intent of the user.
Please add any insights you may have or good reads you'd like to share here.

Same Content or New Content?
Hi Everyone, Hope everyone is doing good. Well, thanks to the input of many people (experts) on this site I have almost arrived at where I want to be, even better than that....I am almost there with confidence because of all the input received from this site. So what have I done? I have redesigned a static website to WordPress, I decided t keep the old link structure which is suffixed .html, and to use redirects if needed. I also swithed hosting service providers to noe that carries htaccess. My last question, well probably not, is do I use the same content from the same pages on the old website to the new, or do i create new content, It is a local service business, new content would not be a problem, however, our current content seems to be ranking well with the old site though. In summary, should I change the content of the new site so "Duplicate Content" does not arise? Should I leave transdfer the content to the new site to maintain on page SEO that has been ranking me good thus far? As Always, any and all input is really appreciated! -jimmy

Is it currently possible to have a company logo appear with a Google search result?
Hello, We're experimenting with rich snippets. It seems fairly easy to attain authorship through Google and have a headshot appear in a search result... However, we are wondering if it is possible to have a company logo appear (perhaps through rel="publisher"?). Surprisingly, I can't find much info on this. Thanks!

Looking for Freelance SEO'ers
Hi, I wouldn't normally post a request for freelancers here, but I noticed someone else has done it and its not against the rules! so here goes... We are looking for Freelancers to help with our work load. In particular we are searching for Link Builders who can establish links on various websites through the use of article writing/blog content posting and other methods. Also, we require general SEOs who can perform the usual technical tasks such as creating 301's, canonicals and SEO audit reports on client websites. Ideally we only want UK based, white hatters with at least 2 years SEO experience. Please pm me if this interests you. Thanks Aran

I'm looking for a freelance SEO ninja who I can pull into client projects from time to time. Any advice?
My company helps health care providers with internet and social strategy and solutions. At times, my clients need SEO services and I need a trusted and skilled pro to turn to who I can collaborate with on behalf of my clients. I may even be interested in putting together an SEO package for my clients if I can find the right person/agency to work with. Thanks for any help/advice you can offer.

Who would you like to ask a SEO question the most?
I was wondering about which people in the industry you'd like to ask a question the most in the q&a? On my list is Matt Cutts (obviously), Marshall Simmonds, Jimmy Wales and Biz Stone.
