For targeting keywords, this is a good start. Putting your keywords near the beginning of your meta titles and descriptions is proper format and will help your click-through rate.
However, as stated previously, make sure not to use the same word repeatedly throughout the tags. By using more varied text while focusing on variations of your keywords, you can optimize your keyword use and not have your text read like spam. Also, make sure not to waste characters on smaller, unnecessary words; instead, create short phrases emphasizing your keywords. As well, make sure your keywords are used within the first 100 words of visible text on your site. This will help your keyword ranking even more than emphasizing the keywords in the meta description.
If you are inquiring about overall page building, then also be sure your site design is static, organized and has lots of relevant information pertaining to your keywords on the main page. A clear call-to-action and contact form in the upper right hand corner is also an essential component.

Maybe it is just me, but I tend to follow a basic method, but branch much wider than the template approach you have provided above. The major issue I see with an approach like you have provided above is that it doesn't leave room for the long tail of search. Granted to be fair what your talking about from a meta tag prospective is merely following best practices, I do try to be consistent between my tags and my content. So back to my point about the long tail. The long tail approach might lead way to character issues if you stick with a template approach. I would create a huge spreadsheet, get a large group of people and keep on keeping on, but be different and don't try to use excel to concatenate to get it all done.

This is more page structure than keyword usage. Are you telling me with this example that you plan to use your keyword 4-8 times within the page copy? Is the targeted keyword Ticket as it is bolded? Or the destination also? Or the keyword phrase of ticket + destination?
Does your image have the keyword in the alt tag?

The meta description doesnt affect ranking. It does affect click through - use it to get your visitor's attention and interest.
Aside from that, watch out for using the same word or words too many times. Not only will search engines view that as spammy, people won't like it either.

I think it will be better to start your meta description with Ticket booking to destination .... try not to use to much short words like: and, or, to , and do not use to much ticket words in content otherwise google will interpret your content as keyword spamming

Would you consider this title to be keyword stuffing or bad?
A competitor uses the following format for all of their meta titles: [Store Name] Voucher Codes, Cashback & Discount Codes | [Website Name] They do vary their titles slightly, depending on which keywords are searched for, for the particular store. What do you think about this title? I'm torn between it looking a little 'stuffy' but them also getting across the point that their page offers all of that.

Keyword Stuffing Issues
Hi Folks, At this URL https://purplegriffon.com/courses/project-management/prince2 as an example, you can see that I am outputting all course dates in a table. Each table row contains information regarding the specific course such as start date, duration, location but also course title. In the course title it will obviously contain the keyword, in this example that is 'prince2'. So my question is this. As the MOZ on-page grader indicates that I am keyword stuffing (even though I receive an A grade) will Google be clever enough to know that I am displaying a table of events for PRINCE2? Or will it class the page as containing too many keywords? Each event links to a specific event page for that event, so is unique. I am interested in hearing the thoughts of the community on this. Sudden drop in ranking for important keyword? No penalty / other issues detected
Hi For our site we previously ranked well for the term "botswana safari holidays" on the page: http://www.naturalworldsafaris.com/destinations/africa-and-the-indian-ocean/botswana.aspx We've suddenly seen a dramatic drop for this term, currently ranked #43 on Google UK. There are no penalty notices in Webmaster tools and the only edits to the page recently have been to include the term "Botswana safari holidays" in the page title and the on-page h2 (previously Botswana safaris and holidays). Any suggestions why we have seen a large decrease for this term? We expect to see some fluctuation but this one seems a bit dramatic. We've not lost any backlinks to the page that we know of. Thanks for the help.

Home Page Keywords not Ranking and Assigned to Inside Pages
Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this. We have a few websites with the same problem. I will use http://www.prepared-meals.com as an example: The home page was ranking on page one for keyword "Prepared Meals". The site is about 6 months old. We use the Moz page optimizer on all pages of our websites to score an A rating. Recently we found the home page is no longer showing up in search results and the keyword "prepared meals" now points to an inside page that is not relevant: http://www.prepared-meals.com/Senior-Meals/Moms-Meals-Reviews.html this page shows up for Prepared Meals around page 15 in Google results. We have read keywords in the URL might be the issue, even though the page optimizer in MOZ says to do that. We are wondering if this is the issue or there is some other problem we are not aware of. How to separate your - keywords - and | Brand name in the Title Tag
I have traditionally used hyphens (-) and vertical bars (|) to separate out keywords/brands in title tags. A client has asked if other characters will work such as tilde (~), apersat (@), forward slash (/) etc. Are there any special characters we should steer clear of?

Large block of several thousand words on homepage of Ecommerce site - opinions?
I work for a local SEO company who are continually adding content to the home page of clients websites. While i do agree that it is a good idea to add content to the home page and to link to inner pages, the home page of several clients exceeds 6,000 or more words. Every month, an article based on a brand or category (which already has its own page which is optimised with an article) is added to the home page with links to inner pages. I have stressed that it is not a good idea to have so much content on the home page, and even more so that it shouldn't target all the same keywords. I have pointed out that many of the brand and category pages do not rank well for their keywords, whereas in most cases it is the home page which is ranking instead, which i have suggested this is because the home page is too well optimised for those keywords. What are your opinions on this? Are you for or against continually adding content (which already has its own designated page) to the home page of an Ecommerce website? I should also add that this content is within a drop down div box at the footer on some sites and just above the footer on other sites. The category and brand pages also have drop down divs with an article just below the header.

301 redirect and then keywords in URL
Hi, Matt Cutts says that 301 redirects, including the ones on internal pages, causes the loss of a little bit of link juice. But also, I know that keywords in the URL are very important. On our site, we've got unoptimized URLs (few keywords) in the internal pages. Is it worth doing a 301 redirect in order to optimize the URLs for each main page. 301 redirects are the only way we can do it on our premade cart For example (just an example) say our main (1 of the 4) keywords for the page is "brown shoes". I'm wondering if I should redirect something like shoes.com/shoecolors.html to shoes.com/brown-shoes.html In other words, with the loss of juice would we come out ahead? In what instances would we come out ahead?
