Weird campaign problem
-
I have a campaign that is showing a 302 redirect for my site with the page title of:
http://www.example.com/www.example.com
and no URL under it.
what could be causing this?
Thanks!

Thanks for your help, I have had weird campaign bugs in the past too so I had a feeling that could be the case. I'll try Cyrus' recommendation and hopefully I'll have an answer then. Its great that there are so many people in this community who try to help out with issues like this.

thanks for your help, I'll definitely try this.

Hi CJ,
302s, by definition, don't have page titles (because they redirect - there's no title on the page)
So the URL listed there is the URL. This is a little confusing because of the formatting on the SEOmoz report. By default it displays "Title" "URL", but this obviously doesn't work in the case of redirects. Something our UX people should probably take a look at.
Anyway, whats more important is how to fix this.
1. Download your crawl report in CSV format.
2. Open the CSV in Excel or similar program.
3. Search for the URL: http://www.example.com/www.example.com
4. In the last column you'll find the "referrer" information. This is the page that the broken link was found on.
5. Go to that page on your website. Find the broken link. Fix. (unfortunately, I can't tell you how to do this step.)
Hope this helps! Best of luck with your SEO!

I hate scrolling through the Q&A section and seeing a 0-response question surrounded by so many answered and responded-to ones. Whenever it's one of my questions with no responses I always get the feeling I'm being ignored. Know, CJ, that I'm not ignoring you, I just read your question and honestly have not a clue.
It sounds like it could be a campaign bug. It happens, I've had them happen to me a few times. I've had duplicate URLs tagged as duplicate content one crawl, changed nothing, then next crawl it was fine. Sometimes the crawler hiccups. If I were you I'd pull a manual crawl (research tools), or use Xenu to run one, and see if it's there too. If it is, you can see the referring URL, or at least more information. I could be of more assistance then.
If it doesn't appear in those, well, campaign crawler hiccup/

Moz Reporting a brand page as KW stuffed for the the brand KW, not a problem i presume ?
Hi if I'm getting a keyword stuffing warning on Moz for a brand page for the brand name kw that shouldn't really matter should it? Moz just oversimplifying it since seen the brand name says 27 times on a page think it's stuffed, but if its a 2000 word page all about the brand, those occurrences are totally natural & hence Google will think so too generally speaking? Thanks Dan

Moz campaign works around my robots.txt settings
My robots.txt file looks like this: User-agent: * Disallow: /*? Disallow: /search So, it should block (deindex) all dynamic URLs. If I check this url in Google: site:http://www.webdesign.org/search/page-1.html?author=47 Google tells me: A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt – learn more. So far so good. Now, I ran a Moz SEO campaign and I got a bunch of duplicate page content errors. One of the links is this one: http://www.webdesign.org/search/page-1.html?author=47 (the same I tested in Google and it told me that the page is blocked by robots.txt which I want) So, it makes me think that Moz campaigns check files regardless of what robots.txt say? It’s my understanding User-agent: * should forbid Rogerbot from crawling as well. Am I missing something?

Multiple Sites/Internal Pages Campaign
Can MOZ do reports/ranks/campaigns separately for each of our sites, then do separate keyword campaigns for specific internal content pages of each of the websites? For a law firm with both a defense and family law sites. We have multiple pages within each site, we will need to do separate and individual campaigns for assault, burglary, traffic tickets, ect. in our defense site. And we'll need other specific campaigns for other specific content in out family law site. Will Moz be able to accommodate our needs with their $99/mo plan or is that service only available for higher packages? (or is it even possible in ANY of their packages???) Thanks.

Campaign link not working?
I imagine most of the initial problems with the domain migration to moz.com will be cleaned up rather quickly. I did however notice right away my links to my campaigns from the dashboard were not working. I then click the campaigns tab up top and my campaign links worked from there. Just thought I'd share real quick incase anyone else is having the same issue.

Can I do a campaign for just a page?
We've been doing a lot of building and work on just one category page, but when i try to put it in the campaign it won't let me do any url that has a sub folder like www.mainsite.com/keyword-page. I can only do www.mainsite.com, and when i select the other campaign options like root domain or sub folder, roger pops up with an error. Is anyone else having this problem?
