Seomoz toolbar - Server location
-
Hello,
We target french countries and it seems IP server location is important.
So we took some hosting at Planete Hoster (located in Canada) with French IP, but our seomoz toolbar says our website is located in Canada
See:
Could you please explain? do we need to change the hoster and to take one in France or this one is ok?
Thank you for your answer

Sorry for responding late, I was on a lunch brake
-
Which other tool do you also use to see the location?
-
Thank you

Hi Nova,
It seems to be some kind of bug. I have checked with several tools I have and all of them pointed out that the website is hosted in France.
Maybe you should point this out to SEOmoz help team, so the team can check it up, and resolve bugs in the system.

Istvan

5xx (Server Errors)-in Wordpress
Since going to a wordpress platform in November, I have seen many 501 server errors in the crawl report. When I click on the link in the report however, the link shows the actual page with no errors. I reviewed all the Q&A but didn't see anything related to this issue. Does anyone have an idea as to why the actual link works when I click on it but the SEOMOZ crawl bot is showing a 5XX error. Thanks for any ideas or feedback you may have.

Why is it that certain keywords in my seomoz report card are for the wrong urls
Hi Guys, why is it that seomoz's On Page Optimization Reports for Google TH are attributing certain keywords with certain urls which are wrong? What mean is an example keyword - 'chiang mai villas for rent' has been scored an F against my home page url rather than using our 'Chiang Mai' url, why is this, is there a coding issue on my site? Is it that seomoz is finding something on my home page to suggest I want it to rank for this keyword?

Can I exclude a sub-domain from SEOMoz campaigns?
We have recently implemented a white label site that is on a sub-domain. The site employs noindex on most of the pages I imagine due to duplicate content concerns on other white label versions of the site. It has led to a spike of over 14 thousand notices on our report. Is there a way to exclude a sub-domain from the SEOMoz scans and reports?

Difference in data between http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/keyword-difficulty and http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/url-metrics/
Hi, Has any once else experienced any difference in data between http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/url-metrics/ and http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/keyword-difficulty Please look at the attached image. For "http://www.webmd.com/diet/guide/choosing-weight-loss-program" and "http://www.freedieting.com/" page authority and domain authority match exactly. But for "http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/weight-loss/plans/" data does not match. The data from "http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/url-metrics/" was retrieved brely 60 seconds latter after data from "http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/keyword-difficulty". We used our custom app for retrieve data from "http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/url-metrics/". The columns were matched against the specs given in "http://apiwiki.seomoz.org/w/page/13991153/URL-Metrics-API". We are retrieving following columns 1)ut(Title) 2)ueid(External Links) 3)uid(Links) 4)umrp(mozRank) 5)upa(Page Authority) 6)pda(Domain Authority) Any help will be greatly appreciated. zvFif.jpg

Linking C Blocks - SEOMoz says its a good thing?
In the competitve analysis, one competitor have more Linking C Blocks, Seomoz has a tick by it almost like its a better thing. Surely a site with the same administrative relationship is not going to help you as much from a linking point of view.

SEOMoz says i have errors but goole webmaster doesnt show them - which one is right ?
I have about 350 websites all created in farcry 4.0 cms platform. When i do a site crawl using any seo tool ( seomoz, raven, screaming frog) it comes back telling me I have duplicate titles, description and content for a bunch of my pages. The pages are the same page its just that the crawl is showing the object Id and the friendly URL which is autocreated in the CMS as different pages. EXAMPLE these are the samge page but are recognised as different in SEOMOZ crawl test and therefore flagged as having duplicate title tags and content ... <colgroup span="1"><col style="width: 488pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 23771;" span="1" width="650"></colgroup>

Now i believe i can fix this by chucking in a rel=canonical at the top of each page ? (a big job over 350 sites) But even so - my problem is that the website developers are telling me that SEOMOZ and all the other tools are wrong - that google will see these the way it should, that the object ID's would not get indexed ( although i have seen at least one object id show up in the serps.) Do i believe the developers and trust that google has it sorted or go through the process of hassling the developers to get a rel=canonical added to all the pages? (the issue sees my homepage as about 4 different pages www.domain.com/ www.domain.com/home /index AND object id.0 -
SEOMoz only crawling 5 pages of my website
Hello, I've added a new website to my SEOmoz campaign tool. It only crawls 5 pages of the site. I know the site has way more pages then this and also has a blog. Google shows at least 1000 results indexed. Am I doing something wrong? Could it be that the site is preventing a proper crawl? Thanks Bill
