OSE Problems
-
I'm experiencing severe delays trying to export OSE data into CSV over the past couple of days. Relatively small reports I ran 2 days ago are still pending!
Has anyone else noticed this?
Also my campaign rankings have not updated since 24th April - anyone else?

They were ironed out for quite some time, and just yesterday we started having some problems with the CSV export. We're working on it right now, though it may be a few days to get all of the backlog caught up and things back up to speed. It is currently taking a couple of days for reports to generate right now. We're in the process of adding an alert to OSE to let people know about this.

Just wondered if those bugs have been ironed out at all 19 months later - I can't believe the delay exporting to CSV, hours and hours waiting to download a report that took seconds to generate. Any update?

Thanks Alex! I'm liking it too.

Thanks Keri - I'll keep an eye out for it.

We do know about the delays. We have a blog post being written right now that outlines some of the known bugs that we have, and that should help explain everything. We know how frustrating this is, and apologize for that.

That was what I figured as well. I waited a bit before coming here to poke around and see if anything had been said.

Yes - me too. I suspect that yesterday's link scape update is causing issues, but it'd be good to know what's going on!

I've been having the same issue. I'm also now getting the "Ouch something went south" warning when trying to run search.

Problems with csv file from OSE
Hello Support, I have problems with the formatting of csv files from OSE in Excel. I got lines that only contain -- and these lines break up the data. It is possible to correct this manually but a bit annoying if you have 1500+ links generated in the file. I work a lot with csv files from other tools and programs and those give me no problems. Can you help me out please? Greetings Rob

Problem with connection to Analytics Account
Hey Boys & Girls, I'd just like to say Hi, currently loving the site and the feedback that i'm now able to receive. Just a quick question, signed up last Wednesday and connected my Analytics account. So far, it has had a problem atleast 4 times where i've had to disconnect and re-connect it to my campaign which then erase's the data that it has received. Is this a common problem or am i doing something incorrectly? Thanks Guys!!

Press Release - using moz bar/OSE is reading domain not page? How? Why?
A question posed by Christopher Glaeser from early today:low PA high DA, had a follow up response from him providing 2 urls from PR WEB for separate press releases: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/11/prweb8923419.htm (HP White) On moz bar Page Analysis/Link Data = PA - 47 DA - 36 http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/12/prweb9051351.htm (Golfer's Advice) On moz bar Page Analysis/Link Data = PA - 1 DA - 96 I kept scratching my head as to how a press release of 6 weeks ago had garnered such attention from a company that would not seem to have a huge traffic due to more obscure product offering and scientific subject (Analyses of Armor Industry versus Golf Advice).

Then I realized that for HP White, Link Data was not about the PR. The url from mozbar was HPWhite.com not the above, I did not notice until I used OSE where same thing was happening. When I cut and pasted the above press release url for HP White and placed it in OSE this changed: PA - 49 DA - 96 (2 links 2 linking root domains) For Golfers advice (0 links from 0 linking domains) Note to all: the links to the PR WEB release for the HP included a low end directory type link and a link from PR WEB (. For Golfer's Advice there was not a link back to the release from PR WEB: Note that Golfer's Advice is a newer release (6 weeks). So, any link from HPWhite release would equal more juice to HP White and PR Web and Vocus. Any link to Golfer's Advice from release offers......???? to Golfer's Advice and who cares to Vocus and PR Web. So, I guess this begs a couple of questions: Why the mozbar link analysis difference for one versus the other? Does PR Web treat some differently than others? Who benefits most from me paying a PR Web to do press releases for a client, PR Web and Vocus or my client and I???? I have tried to order the images to make sense: L to R top, then bottom is last. Anyone having problems with the SEOmoz KWD Tool??
Just a quicky: Tried to run keyword difficulty tool reports last couple of days but keep getting error messages regardless of how many words/phrases I request. Is this a general outage or just me? Cheers

Does OSE Anchor Text Distribution CSV include internal links or external only?
Quite often when I'm using OSE and perform a CSV export, it looks like the total inbound link count and many phrases come from internal links for the domain in question. I haven't had the time to try and figure this out and don't know exactly how to go about figuring it out. So the initial question is does OSE's anchor text distribution CSV include internal links or are they external only? And alternately, how do I test for this? I deal with sites that have tens or hundreds of thousands of pages and hundreds of thousands or millions of links...
