My rankings report is giving out wrong information
-
Hi, i am very puzzled about the rankings report. For some reason the past couple of weeks it is giving wrong information
for example, my site www.in2town.co.uk the report says that the keyword gastric band hypnosis is eight in google on page one but when i have checked i cannot find it.
It also says the word gastric band hypnotherapy is sixth place in google on page one
can anyone please let me know what is going on

cheers for this kerri.

I just spoke with the help desk. They can look into your account from there more easily. In general though, some of the difference in this last report may be because Panda refreshed again on Friday and there have been some major changes in the SERPs. If you report ran on Wednesday, and you checked on Saturday, that could be on explanation.

Hi Diane,
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come across that way. I had read the question, but had not seen mention of which Google address you were using, where you had your geotargeting in your browser set, nor where the geotargeting was set in your campaign. While I waited for that information, I was mentioning as an aside that I saw your other site at the fifth place in Google US from Seattle.
Our help desk is probably the best to help you with figuring out why what you are seeing is different. They'll want to know the same information I've asked regarding how you are checking (logged in/not logged in, what Google location you're using, etc) and they can look into your SEOmoz account and get more information there, too.
-
not being funny Keri but yet again you are not reading the question properly, nobody is talking about www.clairehegarty.co.uk site, if you read the question i am talking about www.in2town.co.uk and i have the settings correct.

I am as well, I think it is a geo location issue
-
Hi Diane,
What geo settings do you have for the rank tracker, and what geo settings are you using in your browser? Which Google are you using?
FYI, for google.com and a geo of Seattle, I'm seeing the Claire Hegarty site in fifth place for that keyword right now.

Google Local results ranking
Are Google Local position results included in Moz ranking reports? If not, how can these be tracked and monitored? Is a Google Local result likely to achieve a similar CTR as previous organic results? Some of our previous good organic search rankings seem to have been replaced by Google Local results for our restaurant and hotel clients. Is this likely to achieve the same traffic and if not, is there a way to get back to organic results? Thanks!

Tracking keyword rankings on sub pages
Hello, What is the best way to track keywords on sub pages of a website through seomoz? Do we need to create a separate campaign for each sub page? Thanks for all the help!

Major Keyword Ranking Drops INCORRECT
For multiple clients I have seen a drop of more than 10 ranking spots for keywords we previously placed well for and made no changes to those pages. We decided to manually check where the pages are and majority of these keywords showing crazy declines are really sitting in position #2 without SPYW, with the rest still being in on 1st page. Now we have to personally check these dropping rankings and manually change them for reports. Any reason for this? Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

SEOmoz campaign - keyword rankings...
Hi there, I have a quick question: Does it make a difference if I add keywords to a campaign with the '[' and ']' brackets included? I just realized that I had copy/pasted many of my keywords from the exported CSV from the Google AdWords Keyword Tool and I fear that the keyword rankings on SEOmoz might factor the brackets as part of the keywords themselves. Thanks in advance! Ben

SEOmoz Dashboard Report: Crawl Diagnostic Summary
Hi there, I'm noticing that the total errors for our website has been going up and down drastically almost every other week. 4 weeks ago there were over 10,000 errors. 2 weeks ago there were barely 1,000 errors. Today I'm noticing it's back to over 12,000 errors. It says the majority of the errors are from duplicate page content & page title. We haven't made any changes to the titles or the content. Some insight and explanation for this would be much appreciated. Thanks, Gemma

Rankings not surfacing all my keywords
Usually they have a little day icon of when they will be updated, but I did some adjusting from around 65 to 98 keywords, but only 54 show up. Is this normal? Do I just need to wait? Some of my page 1 keywords are MIA.

How can I clean up my crawl report from duplicate records?
I am viewing my Crawl Diagnostics Report. My report is filled with data which really shouldn't be there. For example I have a page: http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/ This is a main forum page. It contains a list of many threads. The list can be sorted on many values. The page is canonicalized, and has been since it was created. My crawl report shows this page listed 15 times. http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?direction=asc http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?direction=desc http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?order=post_date and so forth. Each of those pages uses the same canonicalization reference shared above. I have three questions: Why is this data appearing in my crawl report? These pages are properly canonicalized. If these pages are supposed to appear in the report for some reason, how can I remove them? My desire is to focus on any pages which may have an issue which needs to be addressed. This site has about 50 forum pages and when you add an extra 15 pages per forum, it becomes a lot harder to locate actionable data. To make matters worse, these forum indexes often have many pages. So if I have a "Corvette" forum there that is 10 pages long, then there will be 150 extra pages just for that particular forum in my crawl report. Is there anything I am missing? To the best of my knowledge everything is set up according to the best SEO practices. If there is any other opinions, I would like to hear them.
