CPC vs Competition.....
-
what relation does CPC and Competition have? i intend to purchase some high CPC domains, so i want to know what relation exists between CPC and Competition?
should i always consider high CPC domains as highly competitive domains or they does have dependance on each other?

CPC is a function of many things. One of which is the ultimate value of the good/service being offered. So, the CPC of a keyword relating to a specific medical condition (cancer) may be much higher than something generic (like televisions) even though tv's may have much more competition.

Fresh backlinks vs old backlinks: A solid ranking factor?
Hi Moz community, Backlinks being a major ranking factor, do they must be very recent or fresh to make a ranking difference compared to the backlinks which are years old? We know usually fresh content ranks well, but I wonder how much the fresh/recent backlinks impact in rankings. Do the years old backlinks from related and reputed website have same impact on rankings? Thanks

LocalBusiness vs. Physician
I have a physician who is a client and I'm wondering: is there any advantage to having their schema.org as "LocalBusiness" vs. Physician? Clearly as Physician is a sublisting, it should be fine. But I'm just curious. Other than future-proofing is there any "real-time" advantage? Thanks for any insight!

Local Vs National SEO Rankings
Hi Guys, I just had a quick question, is it truly possible to rank number one worldwide/nationally for a keyword phrase these days such as, Computer repair services. I'm not too concerned with the local serps that come up above the fold. I'm just more concerned, if Google is looking to serve more local results into the regular serps listing? I hope that makes sense thanks. Best, Peter

Low Domain Authority - Rank Well For Competitive Keywords
I have been following a competitor's link profile on OSE for over 8 months. Their linkbacks have remained the same (3 follow, 9 nofollow links), all from low-quality directory sites. However, my competitor continues to improve in rankings and is now #1 for competitive keyword searches. How is this possible? Is there a way to hide your link profile or links from OSE? Any tips are appreciated - Thanks!

Singular vs plural SEO
Hi everyone, OK I've been looking at the Google adwords keyword tool and it's thrown some of my On-page SEO into question (everything said here are examples, I haven't used any real life terms or figures). Lets say my page is about "Green Apples", let's say the keyword tool shows that the singular version "Green Apple" gets more searches (as an example). Should I optimize for the singular or the plural? Also lets say my title tag for that page is "Green Apples | Apples Galore UK" would Google/SEOmoz count that as an optimisation for the singular "Green Apple" or do the search engines take the title literally and don't differenciate between singular and plurals? Thanks in advance everyone! Regards, Ash

Local Vs. National Targeting - Pointless?
Hi, I have a client, in Maryland, that wants to rank on the first page for "yoga teacher training". But to my understanding Google (don't know about Yahoo! & Bing at the moment) is prioritizing local listings first based on the user's IP (or preferred city if using a logged in Google Account). Am I right about the priority of local listings? Is that a common occurrence now? Is it possible for my client to rank for yoga teacher training for someone searching in New York, for example, or is this a huge chalenge? Thanks for any advice!! Kindly, Michael
