Reputable Link Building Company
-
We are looking for a company who can build high quality links, from high quality domains to specific pages of our website. We are not looking for companies who create content or add to directories or post on blog rolls.
Has anyone had any experience and can anyone recommend a link building company who can build high quality links to specific pages of a website?
Thanks!

Hi Jon,
I do freelance link building for a dozen UK companies, as well as the white label link building for several digital agencies. Naturally, I'd recommend myself, however if you are shopping around the market then here are some points that I think it's essential to check prior to outsourcing any link building.
-
Firstly, the company should be willing to disclose exactly how they go about obtaining the links, including showing examples of outreach and results. If they aren't willing to disclose this, then I would stay clear (would you really trust someone to represent your business without telling you how they intend on doing it)
-
Also, as simple as it sounds, ask to see some example links they have built. I have found that a few outsourced link builders who preach the white hat quality links spiel, but then send you a list of footer links they've added to their own blog network. Again, if they are not willing to provide examples then I would avoid.
-
Find out what metrics they use to determine a quality link. A worrying number of link builders still base link value solely on the score showing in the PageRank toolbar, which can deliver mixed results at best. Make sure they are using metrics you trust, or ask them to provide a few examples of sites they would target for your business, with an explanation as to why.
-
Find out exactly who will be doing the link building. Many companies outsource their link building, so if you're arranging a contract with an incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant SEO, don't make the assumption that it will be them doing the link building for you. If it will be someone else in the company (or a sub-contractor) building the links, ask to see specific examples of their work.
-
When you're agreeing on a contract, be very specific about what you expect in terms of quality and quantity of links. Ideally, pick a specific minimum number at a specific minimum quality (for example; they will build 15 links a calendar month at a minimum Domain Authority of 45)
-
Ask them to take a look at your backlink profile and recommend the type of links you need, and the kind of sources they should be from. This will give you a great insight into their knowledge and philosophy of link building, and will hopefully give you some great ideas too.
This might all sound a lot to ask from a company, but remember they are going to be representing you and your brand, and to many Webmasters and Bloggers they will become the face of your business. You want to show the same level of thoroughness as if you were making a full time hire, and any link building company worth their salt will understand why and be happy to co-operate.
Best of luck with your search, and let me know if you'd like to see any of my work
David

Is there a way to use your other web properties for successful link building
We have two websites that align with it each other: Site #1 - Industry editorial website that provide high quality, original and current content. This site is mature and has high authority relatively speaking. Site #2 - Industry resource website that educates general public and insiders about the industry. Content is professionally written with fantastic art and basically breaks down different manufacturing processes/materials and walks people through the benefits. Would it be a sound approach to add anchor text/link within articles on site #1 to site #2? Below are a few scenarios: Article on site #1 is talking about using [manufacturing process] to make something and site #2has a page that describes [manufacturing process] in great detail. Article on site #1 is talking about using [material] and site #2 has a page that describes **[material]**in great detail. Article on site #1 is talking why its beneficial to use a particular [material] or [manufacturing process] and site #2 has a page that describes all benefits of [material] or [manufacturing process] in great detail. Obviously, this will only be sprinkled in here and there and not in every article. It should provide users with more insight but will SE's see it that way?

How do I find and can I trust link building companies
I'm finding it hard to build quality links. I don't want to employ a link building company as I can't find anyone I can trust. I also don't know what is a realistic rate of pay for link building work.

Link Building for extremely niche industry
I understand that when getting links into your site, they need to be good authority but, importantly, also relevant to the information on your own website. I've seen examples for people to find guest posting opportunities on many sites, but these have been for popular industries with mass amounts of people discussing it (travel blogs, fashion blogs), making guest post opportunities more readily available. The company I work for provide doc storage, scanning and paperless solutions. As you can guess, when following these guides to find blogs on our industry, I have come up short with places to ask to guest post on! So, how would SEOmozzers approach building quality, relevant links for a very niche industry such as ours? Also, we'll be building pages for extremely specific types of files (e.g. Microfiche Scanning, A0 Scanning....). For these pages, how will I be able to find relevant pages on these topics to get a link to, because these will obviously be even more niche than doc scanning? Thank you!

Primary link building for new clients, where do you go first?
When starting out with a new client, where do you look first to build links for that client? I have a lot of close friends who have small businesses with not a very huge budget for SEO and I'm trying to wrap my head around how to do a significant amount of quality link building without breaking the bank. Any suggestions? My list so far is: Friends / Family of the client.

Hiring a Company for Link Building
I am considering hiring a company to help develop link building for our websites. It is just too time intensive for me and I would like someone with experience to do it. So. . .what are the things I should ask of this company to make sure they know what they are doing and will do it in an ethical manner? What are some things I should make sure that they will NOT do with the links? Any guidance you have on what I should tell the company would be helpful.
