Good article distribution services?
-
Our site has a lot of content we are able to modify/distribute without too much time so I am planning to syndicate some of this using article distribution.
Apart from Ezine articles, are there any other article distribution services I should/could consider using?
I do know that I should also be focussing most of my resource on building high-quality links through guest blogs etc! However this seems like a relatively quick win.
Thanks in advance

Article sites don't have much value these days, I would suggest maybe repositioning the content for guest post spots.
You can always use http://myblogguest.com/ for guest blogging opportunities. -
I noticed that the list in the link is dated 2007 - but post Penguin how many of these article sites are suitable?
Here is an article published on SEW today '10 Old SEO Methods You Shoud Stop' which references SEO article marketing http://searchenginewatch.com/article/2197044/10-Old-SEO-Methods-You-Need-to-Stop

There is an amazing list here: http://www.seoresearcher.com/articles-directories-list-alexa-rating-ordered.htm
Also check out: http://www.seomoz.org/directories
That said, these article sites will only go so far towards helping your link building efforts. I wouldn't submit more than a couple of articles to each (all unique, too), as it will pass some Authority and increase your unique number of linking root domains.
Once you've exhausted that list to a good degree, try guest posting on other blogs if you have spare content!

Is there a good website builder that can gain links?
I made the horrible mistake of using GoDaddy website builder and just found out that I have 3 homepages with a 302 temporary redirect on one of them. GoDaddy says I have only one homepage and no redirects which is not true as far as both Google Webmaster and Mozpro are concerned. I am not able to change anything structurally on the Godaddy site. Is there an economical alternative to having a website built that I can work with myself (with little knowledge) and that I can do some link building that will be effective. Thank you, I will refrain from commenting on GoDaddy Scott

New Links in Old Articles
We have recently launched a new website for a brand that always existed in our company, but never had its own website. Now I'm looking to increase it's organic visibility. We had quite a few links coming into our other sites, when in fact they would be more relevant to our new site. The only things is I found a really good one from 2012 - what would be your thoughts on asking the author to change the link? How would Google view? Would I damage the organic visibility of the site it is currently linking to? Thanks, Brian

Will placing links in articles on my site help my rankings?
I have a few page rank 2 articles on my site. Will placing links to other pages on my site with appropriate anchor text in the body of these articles help the other pages to rank higher for the anchor text i place in these links in the articles? Thanks in advance! Ron

Backlinking / Link Building Services
Hello, Our site is struggling organically and one of the key factors (not surprisingly) is a lack of backlinks. We have hired a content writer and are working on a content strategy to generate quality, relevant backlinks. But this is more of a long term project. After reviewing backlinks to our competitors' sites, it seems clear that they are using agencies or services to generate backlinks (most coming from low quality sites). I'm aware that this isn't a good long term strategy (although it seems to be serving them well at the moment). I was hoping the community could provide some insight on products or services out there that provide "safe" backlinking strategies. I don't want to do anything that is going to harm us in the future. I've read a bit on the hoth, and it seems fairly safe and potentially effective, but it's hard find much objective advice on the topic. Any insight is much appreciated - thanks in advance! Jason

Good badges?
Hi mozzers, As dissussed last friday at the London Linkbuilding seminar, badges are still working like a charm. I am having some of my designers work on some now (have been in the pipeline for months, but conferences are so good at shifting priorities) and are looking for some examples on good badges. The badges will be an award for other websites. Thanks, Thomas
