How to avoid duplicate page content

I have over 5.000 duplicate page content because my urls contains ?district=1&sort=&how=ASC¤cy=EUR. How can I fix this?

Personally long term I would work on changing the URL's so they are human readable but for now to "fix" the issue I would advise you use rel=canonical here is a guide... http://www.seomoz.org/blog/complete-guide-to-rel-canonical-how-to-and-why-not

There are multiple ways of solving this. However, the best solution is to implement rel=canonical tag in your pages.
You could technically do a robots.txt exclusion for such pages, but that's not recommended. Just use one primary URL. So for example your URL is http://www.example.com/red-widgets.php and you have sorting options for that URL, the template/header code should contain:
on all the sort URLs. This acts as a very strong directive to Google and acts as a 301 from all such URLs to your main URL for that product/category.

Should extra content be added to item page or resource center?
We run an ecommerce company which sells machines. After the machine is used for X amount of time, we suggest changing the blades in the machines. We have a resource center for customer convenience. We are creating videos and content on how to change the blades in each machine. (each machine is a different process). Do we create videos and content in the resource center and link to the product page or do we beef up our content on the product page by adding that information there? 1 part of us thinks - "The new blade-changing content" is valuable to that product so buyers know the process before buying and hopefully gain some rank juice on the item pages. The other part of us thinks - Keep all resources in the resource center and link to learning resources from the product pages. This version doesn't beef up our product pages but seems to be the logical place to hose the content on the website. Thoughts? Suggestions?

E-Commerce Site - Duplicate Content
We run an e-commerce site with about 250,000 SKUs. Certain items, such as a micro USB car charger, will be applicable to several different phones. Can you have more than 1 site on the first page if site look and content is completely different but keywords are the sam.
I have a client that wants to build another completely different site than his main site and optimize it to have 2 websites on the first page for his keywords. Duplicate content because of content scrapping - please help
We manage brands websites in a very competitive industry that have thousands of affiliate links We see that more and more websites (mainly affiliates websites) are scrapping our brand websites content and it generate many duplicate content (but most of them link to us back with an affiliate link). Our brand websites still rank for any sentence in brackets you search in Google, Will this duplicate content hurt our brand websites ? If yes, should we take some preventive actions ?
