See question ive posted here https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/webmasters/Wz_pAz7_lk8/jR8DvSyn5T4JHi
We've submitted 2 reconsideration requests in a month and google are not replying to us. They've caused huge loss in business for us over links that are now against google guidelines. I checked our links from the tools provided in webmaster tools and i can see some that are against google guidelines that have recently been spidered, however these links were built in 2008-09, long before the panda updates where this type of link would be classed as spammy.IS their anyone i can contact to speak with as clearly google are too big to care anymore or respond to such requests.the responce ive got is

When we all rode horses to work there was no need for speed limits on the highway & byways... but then things change. In 2008-09 those links may have been worth something... why do you believe they deserve that value today?Get rid of all those 2008-09 links and you should be ok! If you could offer nay help or advice with this it would be most appreciatedRegardsDaniel

Oh, I think it goes back to the root of all evil: cash. We are a corporation and have several sister companies under our umbrella that, collectively, have good sized budgets. And, in fairness, we may have gotten lucky with our assigned rep
I'm not proud of it; I think it's a huge, huge miss on Google's behalf and a ding to their reputation if they play preference for advertisers (ahem, keyword unavailable). I don't envy your position because this can be so frustrating - thank goodness for groups like this where you can either find answers or commiserate?!

Andrea,
I'm glad to hear someone had a better experience than I did, smh. Even after getting enrolled in their 'Engage' program, got an account rep, etc. they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and provided me ZERO INSIGHT into how to get a site that was rejected, approved.
My question to you is: what Jedi Mind Tricks did you employ to get that 'better experience'?
-
In my experience, in order to get a timely reply - or a reply from a non-automated source - you have to be an advertiser. It's disappointing, but once I had an account rep, my experience changed for the better.

Sometimes, I'm afraid Google just lags on getting back to you. I had several publications that had taken several months to get indexed, had written letters to Google, made sure my site was OK, etc. and they still turned my submission down.
Finally, after about 2 months of trying and trying to get added to their indices (not to mention, pulling my hair out and preparing to give-up) I wrote them one last, long letter that included documentation of what the auto-reply message said I was in violation of (as well as a description of how I was meeting their guidelines) and they finally relented.
To summarize, it's quite apparent that they're not reviewing website submissions with human eyes, at least initially. Just keep trying to get indexed and just keep hounding them, eventually they should accept your submission.

Keywords in TOP 5 then disappearing, then reappearing (ongoing for months)
Hello marketers, I've built quite a few successful sites in the past, but I've never issued this scenario. Here's the case: I have 1,5 year-old site that I've tried to build quality content & links over time. However, there are roughly 15-20 pages and keywords that constantly appear and reappear in the search. For example, KEYWORD X: 1 week appearing in rank 3 Then disappearing out of 100 for a week Then reappears in rank 3 and stays there for ~10 days Then again disappears from top 100 for a week or two. Then again, comes back at rank 3 for a few days, then gone again. Now I understand if this is a new site and spammy content and bad links combo, but it's not. It's also not 1 keyword, but multiple keywords and multiple pages. I know it's hard to say what exactly wrong, but could anyone lead me to the right direction. Is this CONTENT issue? Links issue? CTR issue? Site health issue? I've also attached screenshots from 2 keywords and their rankings in the last 3-4 months. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! iXpYN HUzJi

Site Migration of 4 sites into 1?
Hi Guys, I have a massive project involving a migration of 4 sites into 1. 4 sites include: **www.MainSite.com ** www.E-commerce.com www.Membership.com www.ResearchStudy.com Goal of this project is to have 1-4 regrouped into Main Site I will be following the best practice from this post https://moz.com/blog/web-site-migration-guide-tips-for-seos which has an awesome checklist. I am actually about to start Phase 3: URL redirect mapping. Because all of these sites have hundreds of duplicates, I figured I should first resolve the Main Site dup issues before creating the URL redirect mapping but what about the other domains (2,3,4) though? Should I first resolve the Dup issues on those ones as well or it is not necessary since they will be pointing into the Main Site new domain? I want to make sure I don't overwork the programming team and myself. Thanks For sharing your expertise and any tips on how should I move forward with this.

Submitted a Disavow BUT can't send in a RECONSIDERATION, WHY?
Hi Community! 2 weeks ago, i sent in our first/HUGE disavow list to Google. Out of the 2700 domains we submitted, 1300 of them we successfully removed, but we have nothing to show Google. Reason is because on our reconsideration request page, we can't submit anything because we didn't receive a message from Google (please see screenshot). I know for a FACT we got hit by an ALGORITHM penalty back in March2013. So, I have this wonderful Gdoc to prove that we worked LONG AND HARD to add and remove links in the past year, but we can't seem to message Google and tell them our story on why we should be reconsidered. How do we tell Google our success of removals? It's been 2 weeks, how much longer until we see a change in traffic? Or do we have to wait for the next update of algorithms by google aka REFRESH to see a change? Let me know and thank you so much in advance! Shawn cYGKLVR

Google Reconsideration - Denied for the Third Time
I have been in the process of trying to get past a "link scheme" penalty for just over a year. I took on the client in April 2012, they had received their penalty in February of 2012 before i started. Since then we have been trying to manually remove links, contact webmasters for link removal, blocking over 40 different domains via the disavow tool and requesting reconsideration multiple times. All i get in return "Site violates Google's quality guidelines." So we regrouped and did some more research to find that about 90% of the offending spam links pointed to only 3 pages of the website so we decided to just delete the pages, display a 404 error in their place and create new pages with new URLs. At first everything was looking good, the new pages were ranking and receiving page authority and the old pages were gone from the indexes. So we resubmitted for reconsideration for the third time and we got the same exact response! I don't know what else to do? I did everything i could think of with the exception of deleting the whole site. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards - Kyle

Our site has been up almost 2 months and no rankings yet?
Our site is www.AkinsSeptic.com. We spent a lot of time on the site and have not received any rankings yet. Can you advise as to what we can do to get this site ranked at all. I know it needs a lot of SEO work and some links, however, it should rank mildly due to the low competition of keywords we are using. Thanks in advance.
