¿Is a good idea to have in the same hosting (disck space) two diferent domains?
-
Hello. I'm talking about Google Spain.
I have two domains allocated in the same site.
-
One, including the keyword selected for the domain
-
The other is the branding name.
In this way, my client can print the branding name in their cards.
But for us is easier to get rankings and (I think) quickly also.
In this way, what I hope, is that if someone is looking for the service in Google, the domain with the keyword appears. But the site can also be accesed by the branding domain (which is shorter and more friendly.

Yes, definitely (unless you have another agenda for the branding domain)
-
So you mean that when someone is looking the service (keyword) in Google ... for example "jeans", in Google results it will appear:
and
Mayby it will be better to put a 301 in the branding domain, ¿what do you think?

Hello. I'm talking about Google Spain.
** Imagine that based on the question mark in the beginning
To keep it short : can you list the two domains ? (urls) I would say there is no problem no matter what - with the hosting and it's based on queries and domain authority but just to make sure and bring the actual evidence you could list the two urls...

Using one domain for email and another domain for your website, but redirects...
Hello - We are rebranding and our new name is fairly lengthy. We own all main domain versions of our brand name - .com, .new and .org - There is a very high search volume for the new brand name as it is a merger of 2 popular existing brands so want to take advantage of that and use our full name within our website domain name. However, since the name is a little long as mentioned - 25 characters - we also own the 3 character acronym of the new brand so we are debating on using the acronym for our new email addresses. ie name@abc.com so it is user friendly. We would obviously redirect the acronym email domain to point to the longer website domain. Are there any negative SEO effects if we do that? Use the longer domain for the website and shorter acronym for our email? Thank you

Old domain vs. New keyword domain - Thoughts?
Okay. I'd like to get opinions as to what everyone thinks about domains lately. Here is any example: The current domain is general in nature, in fact, it's a persons name because they are a real estate agent. So the domain is something like JohnDoe.com. Current stats: Has approx. 130 linking domains pointing to it. Has over 300 incoming links from these linking domains. The link profile is clean and not spammy (not to say there are not a few that might be here and there) Was bough in 1994 The new domain would have very little value except it would be keyword rich such as PortlandHomesForSale.com (just an example). What are your thoughts. Thank you.

Domain Forwarding Implications
Hi, I am working with a client who is planning to rebrand the company and set up a new domain. What is the best way to maximize and pass the authority from the existing sites (there are 2)? Each site already has many inbound links and have been around for a while. Should I set up 301 redirects for all of the pages? Should I set up domain forwarding? If I do this, what are the implications from an SEO perspective? Please advise. Thank you, Erin

Country Specific Domains
Is there any type of "best practice" for country level domains? I run a TLD .com, and have a few country specific domains (.co.uk, .eu, ...). Right now, I'm not doing anything with them. Previously, I had them redirected to the main .com, but didn't want to anger the Google gods with any type of duplicate content, redirects, or anything of that nature. Any suggestions on how to best utalize these domains?

How to relate two sites Domain Authority
Hi All I have been looking at advertising on some fashion blogs for our online store. Both sites have decent traffic though A is stronger than the B with more than double the traffic, Therefore given equal relevance to our business sunglasses (www.pretavoir.co.uk) it would be fair to predict that A would result in double the number of conversions.. However another interesting aspect to making a decision on which sites to advertise is their Domain Authority and how much link juice they can pass. Therefore my question is this; Putting aside any potential click through traffic, if site A Domain Authority is 70 (link to be on homepage) and site B Domain Authority is 35 is the value of site A double that of site B or is there a less linear relationship (just as with page rank). Site A are charging 500$ per year for an advertising link and Site B 100$ per year would it better business to take 5 x Site Bs or is the linkjuice passed by one DA 70 site worth more? Your thoughts would be most appreciated..
