one of my sites got hit with the exact match domain algo change in google. I was wondering if it would be trouble or beneficial to add about 10 directory links in the the highest page rank directories in the seomoz directory list. It looks like i only have about 17 root domains linking to my site so far that are natural links and not directory links. i have no directory links as of yet. Will this help or does it spell trouble getting this many directory links in a few months?
Thanks mozzers!

If you focus on getting links from high quality, relevant directories, that will not hurt you.
If the directory accepts every link that is submitted to them, that's when you are going to start running into trouble.

Google and Open Site Explorer not showing as many links
I've noticed this past week that when you search for the links pointing to a given site, by using the "link:" operator, that Google not showing as many links as they use to. I noticed this also with Open Site Explorer, it is not showing the detail link information as much as it did before. Is Google trying to mask what we can view now on competitors backlinks? If so, how can we see the backlink building that our competitors are doing?

To Many Links on site
I've had an issue with to many links on the site. My drop down menu, secondary footer and footer. The report told me that I had 253 links on each page. I then programmed my secondary footer to dynamic and ran a crawl and my links reduced accordingly to 201. Then turned the footer into dynamic and ran a crawl with my links increasing to 1500. This also happened between each phase but en went away. Oddly enough, my domain authority increased as well as other factors in the crawl report. This too many links thing is driving me crazy. Please provide some guidance.

How do I find the most linked to page of a site?
I'm looking at a site for a potential link and am trying to find the most linked to page. The SEOmoz toolbar tells me the root domain (DA) is linked to by 660 root domains but the main URL (PA) is linked to by 38 root domains. I used open site explorer and got the same # of 38 root domains in the result. From the Top Pages tab, I clicked on the 2nd page down and the SEOmoz toolbar gives me 189 root domains linking to that page (PA). Then I ran a Linkscape report to see what that would say and I get 146 linking root domains. 1. Is this 2nd page down on OSE the most linked to page? 2. a. Is something off in these numbers?

Domain Authority: Sites with lower numbers get higher ranking.
We had a question about your online tools for http://pro.seomoz.org/campaigns/30642 The Domain Authority for http://pucherinsurance.com/ is 67: Higher than most of our competitors such as bluecross.ca which has a rank of 54. We show up lower in the actual search results. An example phrase would be Visitors to Canada health Insurance. We get an A grade for onsite reports and we are working on the duplicate content and titles. We appear to be doing everything right but still rank lower than expected. Any thoughts?
