How to trace 4XX errors in campaign data?
-
I am trying to resolve a number of 4XX (Client Error) issues noted in my campaign report, but I have no idea where they are originating. All I get is the broken link, the status code, the page authority and the number of linking root domains.
How do I identify where the erroring link originates? Is it coming from within my website, or from an external website? I have gone through my site in great detail looking for these links, but can't find any evidence of them. I also use a broken link detection plugin and it reports no problems whatsoever.
Is there a way I can drill down into these 404 links and get more detail about where they are coming from?

Check Google's Webmaster Tools for the website.
Go to Health > Crawl Errors ..then click on the "Not found" box to display the list of URLs that are returning 404s or 410s. Now click on any of the 404 URLs and a pop-up box will appear with three tabs.
Under the "Linked to" tab, they usually indicate how they found that URL (whether from internal or external pages).
It sometimes lags with the updating though.

Moz vs google data conflict?
Hi there, I am doing an SEO site audit for a client(giveaway, and here is the problem: when performing site:domain.com on google --> 13,800 pages were found When I see this number it seems to be a bit too much compare to the links i checked on integrity(link check for broken links) which gave me a result of 1291. I digged in more into the Google results and saw hundreds(maybe thousands) of pages that are blocked by robots.txt. So I am thinking, ok this is it, thousands of pages can't be crawled by the search engines. Here is the big BUT though, then I check at my moz crawl (see attachment) and no pages are blocked by the SEs, and then look at the dups, only 23 recorded?? Is Moz not crawling properly the 13,800 results that google finds or is this some magical phenomenon happening here? I am really confused here that is why I need some help here! Thank you guys! Campaign web crawl has failed last 4 times
I have 4 websites setup in my pro dashboard. The only site that isn't getting crawled is an HTTPS site. It has worked for over a year, but the past 4 crawls (an entire month now) has returned only one page crawled. Is there something going on with the crawler? I really need to be able to see these stats. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

90% of our sites that are designed are in wordpress and the report brings up "duplicate" content errors. I presume this is down to a conical error?
We are looking at getting the Agency version of SEOMoz and are based in the UK Could you please tell me what would be the best way to correct this issue as this appears to be a problem with all our clients websites. an example would be www.fsgenergy.co.uk Would you also be able to suggest the best SEO plugin to use with SEOMOz ? Many thanks Paul
