I'd also make sure your content was unique. I went to a page describing your social media services and discovered identical content on several other sites, including http://www.localnumberone.com/social_networking.aspx.
Edit: I would honestly suggest putting some quality time into this site. Many images (including on the home page) have a stock photo watermark on them. Content is duplicated across many sites. Images that are a call to action result in a 404 page. The reports section to show off reports requires a password. The Twitter account linked to from the site has a tweet asking if someone would like to take on a junior SEO worker, yet the website itself has a title tag of #1 SEO Consultant London.
The site is lacking many things that would help a customer develop trust in the company. Beyond SEO, take a look at how a customer might approach your site.
-
Also, I did a quick lookup in Open Site Explorer to check out your linking profile.
You currently have 148 links containing the anchor text of "seo services london"
All these anchors seem to be from links from an Escort website? Anyway, mix those up or just change it to your business name (Reseolve), as this will absolutely be hurting your rankings.
One more thing, consider adding a Google Authorship to your site. You don't seem to have a G+ account though, but no worries they are easy to create. Once you set up your G+ account check out http://searchengineland.com/the-definitive-guide-to-google-authorship-markup-123218

Hi Steve,
Here is some quick feedback.
When I loaded the page I noticed it wasn't as fast as it could be, so I ran it through Google's PageSpeed Insights and it returned a score of 73/100, so it can definitely be improved.
Check out https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights and use the tips that they provide.
There are also a few 404 errors that could be redirected:
http://reseolve.com/WebOptimizationConsultant.co.uk/packages-pricing/
http://reseolve.com/wp-content/themes/images/toggle-Bg.png
Also I don't think the robots.txt file was done properly, when I look for your business name in Google UK, I can't seem to find it anywhere. Definitely check out http://tools.seobook.com/robots-txt/ as I think fundamentals are missing.
Lastly, I believe the sliders could be improved as well. First of all I'm using Chrome, and when I quickly click on the sliders numbers it seems to stop working. The looks could be improved as well, perhaps go for full width sliders that contain an image along with the text that you currently (see other sites doing this such as search engine land).

looks nice to me thought wondering why used tables in the coding? Not much of the new developers use tables in their coding these days I guess. Also you might want to make Java script external!

Site Navigation
Hello, I have some questions about best practices with site navigation & internal linking. I'm currently assisting aplossoftware.com with its navigation. The site has about 200 pages total. They currently have a very sparse header with a lot of links in the footer. The three most important keywords they want to rank for are nonprofit accounting software, church accounting software and file 990 online. 1. What are your thoughts about including a drop down menu in the header for the different products? (they have 3 main products). This would allow us to include a few more links in the header and give more real estate to include full keywords in anchor text. 2. They have a good blog with content that gets regularly updated. Currently it's linked in the footer and gets a tiny amount of visits. What are your thoughts about including it as a link in the header instead? 3. What are best practices with using (or not using) no follow with site navigation and footer links? How about with links to social media pages like Facebook/Twitter? Any other thoughts/ideas about the site navigation for this site (www.aplossoftware.com) would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Can Silos and Exact Anchor Text In Links Hurt a Site Post Penguin?
Just got a client whose site dropped from a PR of 3 to zero. This happened shortly after the Penguin release, June, 2012. Examining the site, I couldn't find any significant duplicate content, and where I did find duplicate content (9%), a closer look revealed that the duplication was totally coincidental (common expressions). Looking deeper, I found no sign of purchased links or linking patterns that would hint at link schemes, no changes to site structure, no change of hosting environment or IP address. I also looked at other factors, too many to mention here, and found no evidence of black hat tactics or techniques. The site is structured in silos, "services", "about" and "blog". All page titles that fall under services are categorized (silo) under "services", all blog entries are categorized under "blogs", and all pages with company related information are categorized under "about". When exploring the site's links in Site Explorer (SE), I noticed that SE is identifying the "silo" section of links (i.e. services, about, blog, etc.) and labeling it as an anchor text. For example, domain.com/(services)/page-title, where the page title prefix (silo), "/services/", is labeled as an anchor text. The same is true for "blog" and "about". BTW, each silo has its own navigational menu appearing specifically for the content type it represents. Overall, though there's plenty of room for improvement, the site is structured logically. My question is, if Site Explorer is picking up the silo (services) and identifying it as an anchor text, is Google doing the same? That would mean that out of the 15 types of service offerings, all 15 links would show as having the same exact anchor text (services). Can this type of site structure (silo) hurt a website post Penguin?

Site Map Problems or Are They?
According to webmaster tools my Sitemap contains urls which are blocked by robots.txt Our site map is generically generated and encompasses all web pages, whether I have excluded them using the robots.txt file As far as I am aware this has never been an issue until recently. Is this hurting my rankings and how do I fix it? Secondly, webmaster tools says there is over 5,000 error/warnings on my site map. But site map is only 1,400 or so pages submitted. How do I see what is going on?

Should this site start again on a new domain
Hi We have not done SEO on this site they have used another company who looks like they outsourced and the links have been built by a third party all blog networks and this company have said they cannot get the links removed. Google flagged artificial links on this web site in February and in April it lost over 10000 visitors in a month and its just free falled ever since. The categories have been recreated and no redirects created due to the amount of backlinks from the blog sites to the original category pages but the site is not recovering its down to 1500 visitors a month and used to get 14000 a month. So should my customer ditch the domain and move this site to fresh domain? http://www.kids-beds-online.com Any answers would really be appreciated. thanks Tracy

301 redirecting a mobile site.
Is it possible to selectively 301 redirect mobile/tablet user agents and google robots from the desktop version of a website to a mobile site? Would this preserve the SEO for the desktop website while optimizing the mobile/tablet site for mobile SEO?
