Hello again
A voice from the past. I've finally managed to install the company WordPress Theme and have a play with the style sheet(s) -
The ‘style.css’ and the ‘editor-style.css’ have the correct code. But the bold and italics, although displayed in the editor, disappear in the browser. It doesn’t matter what browser I use.
Any ideas?
Thanks Catherine

Thank you for you response.
I've looked at the Style sheet via the Visual editor. For 'em' and 'strong' I have:
strong {
font-weight: bold;
color: #000;
}
cite,
em,
i {
font-style: italic;
border: none;
}Which is identical to the default style sheet I have loaded in my test WP account which does display 'i' and 'b' in the browser. The above code is within a company theme - style sheet. I can't see anything wrong!
I'm going to ask the developer for a copy of the theme to put on my dummy site.
Will let you know how I get on.
Thanks again

Semantically the and markups are more meaningfull than the and tags, thats the reason for their adoption (its a convention by the W3C)
__If you have access to the .css file of your site you can try adding those two following rules:
em{font-style:italic}
strong{font-weight:bold}
Let me know if that worked out
PS.: If you dont have access to the css files through FTP you can do it by going on Wordpress Admin > Appearence > Editor, On the files on the right look for the Stylesheet (style.css), there you can edit it.****

Missing Meta description issue reported
Moz says missing meta description, however the meta description exists properly (using yoast plugin) eg of link reported by moz for missing meta description : https://www.basezap.com/reinstall-os-in-vps-using-solusvm-panel/ It is giving same error for many blog posts, as same time, for some articles the issue isn't reported. Although the method for meta description is same for all the posts. Can anyone explain if its a common bug in moz site analysis or I am following something wrong ?

Organic Rankings - Y=5, B=2, G=Not Found!
My on-page SEO efforts are focused on generating higher visibility in Google's SERPs for my site: http://www.thegrossmanlawoffice.com. My primary keyword phrase is "winter garden divorce lawyer" I have noticed that my home page ranks higher in Yahoo (5) and Bing (2) for my primary keyword, and Google does display my site in the 7-pack local results but does not rank my home page organically. It actually ranks my business's Facebook page on page 3 of the SERPs. Yahoo includes me in the local listings in position #2...at least today it does! I am happy that Google includes me in the local results, and I am curious why it does not rank my home page organically at all. Yahoo's rankings seem to be accurately tracking my keyword phrases and the appropriate pages, and it has me ranking really well for many of my keyword phrases. I am not quite sure why Yahoo and Bing see my relevant pages and seem to be ranking me appropriately, but Google is not. I recently (within last week) cleaned up my backlink profile per a great suggestion I received here. Is that the likely culprit? Any thoughts? Thank you in advance.

Can internal duplicate content cause issues?
Hello all mozzers - has anyone used nitrosell? we use them only because their inventory connects to ours epos point but because they have thousands of 301s on our domain we are getting duplicate content because different sizes of products (we sell womenswear) are creating seperate URLS so we are duplicating both content and URLS - im curious as to whether anyone has experienced simillar problems that have affected their SERPS? Best wishes, Chris
