How to autofollow anyone who tweets/retweets my blog?
-
I'm not sure if here is the right place for this Q but since followerwonk is one of the SEOmoz tools, I thought I'd try.
I want to autofollow anyone who tweets or retweets specific URLs (my blog posts on a large blog).
Does anyone know how to do this? They often don't @mention me in the tweets, I just see them all on topsy.
I get 50-100 a day and at the moment have been manually going through and following all those people.
It's been a useful exercise so far to see what types of people are tweeting my stuff, but now it has got super tedious!

IIRC, you can still use Twitter as a trigger, but you can't read what's going on in Twitter to start something off. Basically, you can do the "that" part, but not the "this"!
-
Oh, I heard that too, but they still list it? Thought they might have added it back?
-
My first thought too, but unfortunately IFTTT removed its Twitter integration awhile back.
You can still pull twitter RSS feeds and set up IFTTT alerts, but it wouldn't help with the automation part, as it can't access the Twitter platform any more. Furthermore, I think Topsy provides a clean way of showing who has been mentioning your handle.

I believe this could be an answer to your question -
If this, then that automation engine that allows you to set up action based on channel triggers

Hello I have this twitter account https://twitter.com/sabiastuque_ about curiosities and there is another twitter account https://twitter.com/sabiasundato_o that copies every single tweet i do at the moment. It is no tweet i made than they do not copy, i think there is something doing it because i think they dont even read them. They just dont copy the tweets that as mentions or link. It seems so like a machine!!! And after all of that they have 1,5 millon followers by copying everything from me and i have 1 millón Should i report that? How are they doing it? Is there any mirror or something?

Opinions on offering an incentive/discount for Facebook sharing
I often see sites offering a discount for liking their Facebook page, but very rarely do I see sites offering a discount for sharing a link or their page. What are your opinions of this, is it something that Facebook could frown upon? Are people likely to just share, get the discount and then remove the post etc?

How to coordinate blog, facebook and twitter.
I have a small law firm with a website including a blog, as well as accounts with Twitter and FB. I usually write a blog on the website then reference and link to that blog from twitter and FB. I also do short blogs that are basically links to other interesting articles about my field, and link to those as well. Is this helpful or correct from he perspective of SEO for the website? Is there a particular way to do this? I have much to learn so any comments are welcome. Many thanks.

How to track the performance of my guest blog posts?
I am doing some guest blog posting.and I want to measure how successful my effort was: when deciding the value of the links from the article Does google take into account how many times the article is read? Because some people do not bother taking further actions (like/share/clicks) even they like it. how do you guys check the amount of reader of those articles? I can't track this article views through analytics obviousely. On the other hand let say the article create valuable info to the readers (many people read it) but no likes/shares/bookmarks would this still be a successful article marketing?

You have a limited budget of $2,000 (US). Do you buy links or create / seed content?
We have a client who is being told by their incumbent supplier that they should renew their annual contract to buy links on 4 domains by their incumbent SEO agency. It will cost approximately $2,000. We are recommending they produce decent content, like a video, an infographic based on data that is exclusively theirs and seed this with bloggers / real world publications / trade press / etc. The client is struggling to make a decision because he's caught between two SEO's with different approaches. He doesn't have the budget for both. He's scared of losing his position in the SERPs. So, I said I'd get some votes from other SEO's. Which would you recommend? Option 1 1,000's of links on 4 domains Option 2 Create link bait Seed using social media GO!

Best place to have blog reside
So... I have a fairly new wordpress blog at myblog.com, but the ultimate goal is to drive traffic and increase rankings for mysite.com. With the rise of twitter/facebook influences do you think best to migrate the blog to a directory within www.mysite.com aka www.mysite.com/blog and then 301 direct all the existing pages to the new pages created or is it better to keep the 2 domains seperate and then just have links in the navigation of both sites to each other? My initial thoughts are to incorporate it within www.mysite.com/blog but not 100% sure? Quick follow up question.. Is there an easy code snipit to add to the .htaccss file to 301 direct myblog.com to mysite.com/blog? Thanks for any help and thought on this! John
