What keywords should I use in my campaign.
-
I am a chiropractor. I only compete against web sites in my town. Should my key words be neck pain, back pain? Or should it be neck pain Bloomington Illinois and low back pain Bloomington Illinois? I am referring to the campaigns I just started. (I am new)

Yes, I have done all that, Thank you. I just wasn't sure about the campaign. Both aswers were very helpful.

Hi Robert ,
I would go with the following keywrods:
chiropractor Bloomington
back and neck pain relief
neck pain specialist
neck pain specialist Bloomington
back pain specialist Bloomington
chiropractic clinic Bloomington
pain specialistsDefinitely you will need to setup Google Plus Business page as well as Facebook page and Twitter
The social media presence will increase authority of your new site and business overall
Regards
Dmitriy

Hi Robert and welcome
I would definitely include Bloomington Illinois as searches are going to be for your specific local service.
Have you checked out the Google Adwords Keywords tool for some suggestions yet (not that it's the be all and end all). I just had a quick check and some suggestions were along the lines of 'back pain specialist', 'back pain clinic', 'back doctor', that sort of thing (with the local town name included).
I would also strongly suggest setting up a Google Plus Business page and linking it to your website - when you have set up your page you will see an option in your 'about' section to do this.
Google Pages are showing up more and more in local search, so a Google Page is pretty essential. It should also be well optmised, i.e. full profile details and a rich description of the services you provide.
Good luck and if you need any further help with that page, let me know!

Hi Robert. Welcome to the wonderful world of SEO!
You should use the location based keywords that mention your town, because these include the general keywords anyway. So "neck pain Bloomington" covers both scenarios.

A question on keywords that rank 51+
Good afternoon everyone. I wanted to pose a question to the group about keywords and the "on-page optimization - grade a page tool." I have a list of keywords that I am trying to rank for. Some of them are not ranked in the top 50, so on the keyword ranking tool it gives you the 51+ message in the rank column. For the items that are ranked I can try to improve them by looking at grade a page and typing in the URL and keyword. It will then give me a score and suggestions on how to improve it. With that being said, is there an easy way to find out which pages I should be optimizing those keywords which rank at 51+ for, besides typing the keywords in Google and seeing what URL it associates with the specific keyword? I hope the question above is clear.

Remove geographic modifiers from keyword list
I just pulled a search term report for all of 2013 from my PPC account. What I got was 673,000 rows of terms that have garnered at least 1 impression in 2013. This is exactly what I was looking for. My issue is that the vast majority of terms are geo-modified to include the city, the city and state or the zip code. I am trying to remove the geographic information to get to a list of root words people are interested in based on their search query patterns. Does anyone know how to remove all city, state and zip codes quickly without having to do a find and replace for each geo-modifier in excel? for example, if i could get a list of all city and state combinations in the US and a list of all zip codes, and put that list on a separate tab and then have a macro find and remove from the original tab any instances of anything from the second tab, that would probably do the trick. Then I could remove duplicates and have my list of root words.

Can you export a keyword rankings report with the keywords listed in order of ranking ?
My keyword ranking report shows the results all jumbled. I can put them in order when viewing the report online, but when I export it , the results go back to all jumbled rankings.

Is there a way in in the pro campaign to initiate an instant crawl?
I have a campaign that's on a very small website at this point. It's only 9 pages, so a crawl would only take a few minutes. Is there a way to start a quick crawl at my request instead of having to wait a week to see if I fixed the issues it found during the last crawl? I've been hunting around, but I don't see a way.

Why would the SEOMoz Page analysis pick up exact keywords used in page title and text?
Hi, I am trying to optimise this URL : www.adaptiveconsultancy.com/ecommerce/features/advanced-ecommerce with the keyword being 'advanced ecommerce' With the 'On-Page Report Card' from SEOMoz that the exact keyword isn't featured in the page title or text, but it is in there. Why would this not be picked up? Thank you in advance,
