Quality Issues: My blog is blocked on Google Search Engine
-
Hi Webmasters,
I got an email from google team. The email is included below.
**Google Webmaster Tools: Quality Issues on http://abcdblogger.com/**August 8, 2012
Dear site owner or webmaster of http://abcdblogger.com/,
We've detected that some of your site's pages may be using techniques that are outside Google's Webmaster Guidelines. If you have any questions about how to resolve this issue, please see ourWebmaster Help Forum for support.
Sincerely,
Google Search Quality Team
My blog is completely blocked on Google Search engine. I removed all existing posts and reinstalled a fresh version of wordpress and wrote a good article. I redirected all broken links my homepage with a 301. After making those changes I submitted a reconsideration request to Google, But they declined it.
I doubt that the reason for blocking could be due to the backlinks pointing to my domain. I think Google's Disavow Tool help me to remove low quality backlinks, But how can I sort low quality backlinks using Opensite Explorer?
If possible can you create a text file with all possible low quality links, So that I could submit it using Google Disavow Tool.
Thanks.

Hello Hafiskani
Your blog only has a single post - and it isn't really very useful.
There is no terms of use and no privacy policy.
I haven't looked at your external link profile, but from what you said, you've redirected all of the bad incoming links to your home page. That is probably a bad thing. You would be better off either removing all the 301s and losing all of the links or reviewing the external links and only redirecting for good sites pointing to the old pages.
If your previous pages were as thin as this new one, my guess is that all of your old links were not from good quality or related sites, so readirecting them to the home page is a great way to tell google you love those bad links, and you're not prepared to give them up.
I just searched for your domain and I see you had previously been busy going around to blogs and dns test and stats sites, getting listings and links. Some of those blogs are completely unrelated to your old posts. I didn't see any blogs that were good quality, that willingly linked to your posts because they were useful.
I don't want to say that it is a lost cause, but either you need to continue on with this blog or dump it and start again.
In either case, you need to read the google guidelines at the links they provided to you. Then you may work out the deficiencies you currently have. Unfortunately, the google guidelines are quite vague and not exactly what I would call useful or readable, which is what they keep telling us we have to do. So that means you may not work out what is wrong.
This may seem like a radical idea, but if I were you, at the stage you are now, with am empty blog and such thin content, I would go back to school, and learn all the things you need to do to build a really useful blog, and then go and put what you've learned into practice. Or I would forget blogging and do something else.
There is inexpensive training around, or if you have no money at all, you could go to read problogger or copyblogger - or both.
I also recommend you don't ask for reconsideration until you have at least 10 useful posts. If you are a good writer and you learn the lessons you need, you should be able to do that in a week. If you are not a good writer, then you shouldn't be doing this anyway. Find something else to do. In any case, I recommend you get as far away from the "How To Earn Money Online" niche as you can. You are really the blind leading the blind - you should leave it to the people who really know what they are doing.
Look around and find a real business that you can do, that you don't need to keep writing new content for. Resell domains, or go to flippa and buy an existing website business that is already running, because (and I really don't mean to be mean to you) I believe you really don't know anything about blogging, so to try to teach other people how to do it is really a bad idea - for you and for anyone who decided to follow you.
Don't feel too bad about this, because when I first started (a long time ago), I thought I wanted to help other people do stuff like this, because I had a technical background and I could teach, but that niche is just a bad place to be and after I realized that, I got away from it. If you had "a brand" I wouldn't have said this, but abcdblogger isn't a brand.
Listen to what other people here tell you - they may have a solution for you. I am just one voice, and that is my advice to you.
Best Wishes with whatever you decide to do.

Weird Google indexing issues with www being forced
IM working on a site which is really not indexing as it should, I have created a sitemap.xml which I thought would fix the issue but it hasn't, what seems to be happening is the Google is making www pages canonical for some of the site and without www for the rest. the site should be without www. see images attached for a visual explanation.

when adding pages in Google search console without www some pages cannot be indexed as Google thinks the www version is canonical, and I have no idea why, there is no canonical set up at all, what I would do if I could is to add canonical tags to each page to pint to the non www version, but the CMA does not allow for canonical. not quite sure how to proceed, how to tell google that the non www version is in fact correct, I dont have any idea why its assuming www is canonical either??? k11cGAv zOuwMxv0 -
Changes to title and description not appearing in Google search...
www.heatwavemedia.com Search terms: san francisco video production, san francisco video production services In Google search site appears as "Heartwave Media: San Francisco Video Production Services" but I'm sure I've never used a colon in all my iterations of the title... Instead it reads "San Francisco Video Production Services | Heartwave Media" with the description "A San Francisco video production company specializing in creative corporate and commercial video services." But that's not coming up either... I'm on Wordpress and am using All in One SEO if that helps... Thoughts?

Google appending keyword to local search result(s)?
I noticed an interesting change today in how one of my clients appears in the SERPs. Google seems to be appending a keyword to his listing title. Client website: www.mycalgarydentist.com Keyword: Calgary dentist Rank: #2 or #1 lately Title tag: Calgary Dentist | Ambiance Dental Google+ Local listing title: Ambiance Dental Link title in SERP: Ambiance Dental: Calgary Dentist That last point is what's interesting, and new. As of a couple weeks ago (before I went on holidays) his link would simply show "Ambiance Dental", which makes sense because that's the title of his Google+ Local listing. Given the above information, I can't see why his link in Google's SERP is "Ambiance Dental: Calgary Dentist" when doing a search for that keyword. When I do a search for "Calgary dentists" or other similar searches, he simply shows as "Ambiance Dental", not "Ambiance Dental: Calgary Dentists" To test yourself, use the Google AdWords Preview Tool (https://adwords.google.com/d/AdPreview/), change locality to "Calgary, AB, Canada" and search. I suspect this doesn't mean he's violating Google's guidelines for business listings (i.e. businesses aren't supposed to add keywords to their business title). I'm certainly curious why this is happening though. Can anyone provide any insight? Has anyone seen anything similar? calgary-dentist-search.png

Adding Google + to SEOmoz
I wanted to add my google + signature to every post I make on SEOmoz and I think every user should do the same... Two reasons why... Google helps our existence so we should help theirs. If someone likes what I wrote or vice versa we should be able to follow each other in a simple click. In my opinion all blogs forum posts etc... should Lead to a user not a website, this will prevent spam and help people network. In other words blog spammers and forum spammers will be SOL (Which they all ready are lol).

How to alter the search result to this?
When searching for "kredittkort" on Norwegian Google I get a search results that looks like this. I want to replicate this, but I'm not sure what information they've provided and how they've done it. It's seems like their both listing products AND have sitelinks connected to a subsite. How is this possible? The sitelinks aren't even subpages of the ranked site. How have they managed this? Also, is the product previews they have?

Redirecting blog.<mydomain>.com to www.<mydomain>.com\blog</mydomain></mydomain>
This is more of a technical question than pure SEO per se, but I am guessing that some folks here may have covered this and so I would appreciate any questions. I am moving from a WordPress.com-based blog (hosted on WordPress) to a WordPress installation on my own server (as suggested by folks in another thread here). As part of this I want to move from the format blog.<mydomain>.com to www.mydomain.com\blog. I have installed WordPress on my server and have imported posts from the hosted site to my own server. How should I manage the transition from first format to the second? I have a bunch of links on Facebook, etc that refer to URLs of the blog..com format so it's important that I redirect.</mydomain> I am running DotNetNuke/WordPress on my own IIS/ASP.Net servers. Thanks. Mark

Does Google take user site blockings from Chrome as a spam signal?
When you perform a search in Chrome, click through to a result, then hit "back", you get a nice little option to "Block all example.com results" listed next to the result from which you backed out. I am assuming Google collects this information from Chrome users whose settings allow them to? I am assuming this is a spam signal (in aggregate)? Anyone know? Thanks!
