Is anyone using Pinterest for link building?

They have dofollow links and I have read somewhere that every repin will be counted as a new link. Is this true?

You might be right, I'm just asking as I seem to be getting so much conflicting information about this. But it does bring a lot of traffic, so I'm definitely going to work on a more organised way of using Pinterest

I actually work with a client in the wedding space as well and they have thousands and thousands of shares but i wouldnt say it has the value of a link

I've heard quite a few people saying that their PR has gone up after they started using Pinterest as part of marketing/link building. However, I can't check if what they're saying is true.
I watched the video that Matthew suggested and he claims that he has 800 links coming from Pinterest. I'm sure that must count more than just a social share?

I dont think it counts as a link but im sure it has the same value as a social share. Google knows what pinterest is and knows how to treat it.

Hello Moz Community, I am about to hire a SEO firm for my website ranking. I have few questions about their link building plan. http://priceperlink.com/SEO-Link-Building/ Their link building plan ! I have purchased package 4. I have noticed they will use same article and PR again and again . Is that acceptable ? This plan is not authenticated to me. I hope google will catch me for duplicate content. Anyone can clear it please ? Another question is , If i provide unique articles , will that plan be helpful ? Still i have confusion. Link building with About.com and ehow.com
Does anyone know if About.com has a policy on providing back links to websites. A client of mine has had a product reviewed on about.com as well as being included in a "how to" article, but no back link was provided. I checked out the page and noticed "paid for advertisement" back links over random words but no back links on any of the pages I randomly searched that were related to the topic being discussed.

Has Anyone used Eyeflow SEO out of Pittsburgh
We are looking to have a third party do some white hat link building for us because we currently do not have the resources to do so in house and do not want to rush into a hire. We are looking at eyeflow because they are local to our area and we would have the opportunity to personally see how they do things. Do you consider it risky to hire outside firms to build links?
Based on what happened to JC Penny do you think there is a significant risk of penalties if you have an outside firm build links for your site? For example they could buy some links and get caught or engage in black hat tactics without our knowledge. Is there anything that can be done to minimize any such risk?

Can anyone recommend a great link building firm?
I'm looking for a reputable firm that builds high quality links to a high quality site. These links should be located on a page with high Page Rank/Page Authority and should also have high quality links pointing to the page.
