How much time Google takes to see my backlinks
-
Hi,
I got bunch of nice links in high pr sites. But some links was a 2 month ago and i cant find it in webmastertools, opensitexplorer and yahoo, because of that i dont know if my links are working good for my site.

Can you tell when the pages you got links on were last cached?
You can do this manually by searching for the url and clicking the 'cached' link beside the URL.
If they've not been cached then they're unlikely to show up at all in any of those tools (and after a couple of months it would be a pretty poor page if it hadn't been).
If it has been cached then it's a bit up in the air as to when it'll show up in WMT (or the other checkers) and even then if it's passing it's full value straight away.
If it's not cached then I would point a link at it from somewhere (not necessarily your site) just to send the spiders along to it and get it counted again.

Thanks Alan,
Thats the point, i got backlinks in page that has high PR in home page but not necessarly has high PR in deeper pages.
I will try to analyse my backlinks even more.

How many clicks from the home page are these links. even though the homepage of a site has high PR, it does not mean all pages in the site do also. If the site is more than a few clciks from the home page it is likly they are low PR and less likly to get indexed.
It is believed by many that a low PR page on a hight PR site will climb fast in Pr if you liink to it, but then you may as well as link to your own site,

Backlinking Strategy
I am particularly new to the field of SEO and Backlinking and I have recently started my own blog feel free to have a look (https://thehorseradar.com/). What I wanted to find out is how can I achieve a DA of at least 30. What should be my link-building strategy? & what steps should I take first? With an abundance of overwhelming info available online I have gotten really confused about what would work and what would not. If someone would lay out the steps needed to be taken, I would be extremely grateful! Thank You

When do backlinks start helping?
I have been working hard at getting quality backlinks but I had a lot of keywords slip in rankings this week. This may because I have been extremely busy for a week and haven't added a lot of content to my site. But I thought the backlinks would be helping. How long does it take backlinks to start boosting your site and what results should I see? I am focusing on getting backlinks from a site with a PR of 7. The others have a PR of 4-5. They are the BEST sites in my niche.

How long for backlinks to kick in?
Lets say you do a guest post, Google indexes the article which must mean it has found the link back. Would you expect to see movement straight away? Some of my latest guest posts (in the last week) have been indexed but have shown no movement at all, but when I check WMT for links coming in they are not in the list so im guessing they have not taken full effect?

Blogging for backlinks
I have a real estate website. I would like to start blogging on blogs not related to real estate. I like reading web design, html, css, php, word press etc... blogs. I want to start talking to the bloggers using my real name (not keyword anchor text) on their blog. I'd like to have authentic conversations; however, will this confuse google about my site? If I am using my name as anchor text on sites about webdesign and linking back to a real estate website, what will that do to the SEO? It's also important to consider one other detail. I have determined through link building in real estate related fields that it's really hard to find good domains/page rank when compared to the fields above. I could get a dozen great links in 10 minutes on the above subjets AND be legitimately engaging in conversation with my name, not keywords... Does the invention of "author rank" make this more viable?

Question on backlinks indexing
Hello, my site is fairly new and I started building a lot of backlinks to it by posting my 5 from my website to several different web 2.0 and then posting all those 5 articles again to different article submissions + getting social bookmarks to my main site as backlinks. My question is: Should I throw all those backlinks in an indexer to get them all indexed at once / ping them all OR do I let google crawler naturally find them and index them itself sort of like 'dripping' as it will find it one by one; stack by stack? I would also like to know why Yahoo! hasn't indexed my site yet 😞

I'm seeing that open site explorer seems to do a good job analysing backlinks
I can see the link text and where they are coming from and i can use that to steer where i want to get links from, and how i want to get links. Am I missing something? Does raven tools or other software have anything more to offer me in managing my back links? I'm not talking about where and how to get them, just in viewing the structure to help fine tune it so as not to appear unnatural to Google. All responses wecomed
