Contests for link builing?
-
I had read a great blog post somewhere a couple weeks ago that had some great tips and resources on how to best run a contest (like on FB) and get good links. Had mentioned specific tools and techniques to use.
Unfortunately I can not for the life of me remember where I saw this at. Did anyone happen to read this and have the link the post by chance?
Thanks for any help! Ron

Does posting links in comments on Linkedin count as blackhat?
Hello, I noticed a competitor site has started writing a post on linkedin and then adding the link to the article they are referencing in the comments section. I started to dig into this and came up with this useful post https://growthrocks.com/blog/linkedin-abtest-link-in-comment/ to me that all screams black hat, spamming and scamming... What does the Moz Community think? Sincere thanks for feedback and I hope you're safe - wherever you are... Rhiannon

Webmaster is showing hundreds of external links from 1 G+ post
A page on our site is registering as having 262 external links coming from two pages on Google+. The page it comes from is for posts related to #weddings, but I can't find the post with our link. Has anyone else experienced this? Links to Social Media Sites
I am in the process of updating my website where all the URLs of my individual blog pages are changing. I have, in the past, done a lot of link sharing on Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter of my individual blog posts, but now on the new site my links will be different. Therefore, when I launch the new site anyone clicking on my previous tweets or facebook shares will get a broken link. Is there a tool I can use that identifies all the links on social media sites? Opensite Explorer doesn't show these - unless I am missing something? Any tips on how to overcome this would be very useful. thanks

Linking Facebook activity and your post
Hi everyone, I'm sure you know how images tend to do better in Facebook. The problem is, if I post an image on Facebook, and link to a blog post in the comment of that image, the activity of that Facebook post wouldn't be pulled into the blog post. That is, the blog would show 1 "like" when the post on Facebook is actually getting 150 "likes". That wouldn't be the case if I posted a link instead of an image. Does anyone know of a work-around? Thanks.
