Schema Markup Showing On Some Pages But Not Others
-
We have implemented Schema markup for Reviews on product pages. All these pages check out in the Markup Checker Tool in Webmaster Tools, but out in the wild only about 50% of them are actually showing the Review markup in SERPs.
Example of a page showing Review markup successfully:
http://www.cloud9living.com/los-angeles/drive-a-stock-car
And example of a page not showing markup in the SERPs:
http://www.cloud9living.com/las-vegas/race-a-ferrari
Any ideas on why some SERPs show markup and others do not?
Thanks!

I have had the same issues and am still working on them but this tool http://linter.structured-data.org/ has help find markup that google validates but has Word copy and paste chars in it that cause errors.

Rich snippets can be fairly tempermental. They don't always show up in the search results and Google have came out and said this (https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1093493?hl=en).
I have some snippets that show on my travel blog that have been there for months and then just vanish - it's pretty annoying, but one thing I would check is that they follow Google's Webmaster guidelines (you can see them in the link above).
Hope this helps.
Matt

Article page canonicalization
Hey there, A client rents all kinds of party articles, like plates, bowles, etc. Currently, al his article pages have canonicals to their parent category pages, supposedly to have any pagevalue flow to these category pages, (which are much more relevant for SEO). Is there anyone who agrees with this method? I think a noindex, follow would be a better measure to prevent Google from accessing all these 'low value' article pages. Besides, a canonical should indicate that page A and B are (almost) identical, which they most certainly are not in this case. What are your thoughts?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2ra6cdb5w609o8d/Screen Shot 2016-01-13 at 2.46.12 pm.png?dl=0 1-Is there a chance Google will include these reviews as it doesn't have a way of checking if they are real? They are in this case so that's why would be great to include them. 2- the stars don't seem to be in html, how can we mark the stars to be indexed by google? I want to include this schema
https://developers.google.com/structured-data/rich-snippets/reviews#aggregate_ratings I don't think we would be able to full-fill these items, what do you think? <code>spanvocab="http://schema.org/"typeof="Review"> <span< span="">property="itemReviewed"typeof="Thing"> <span< span="">property="name">Super Book This is not a boook is a service, what should I put here?</span<></span<> <span< span="">property="author"typeof="Person"> <span< span="">property="name">Joe</span<></span<> <span< span="">property="reviewRating"typeof="Rating"> Rating: <span< span="">property="ratingValue">7</span<> out of <span< span="">property="bestRating">10</span<></span<> <span< span="">property="publisher"typeof="Organization"> Whato this property means? 301 Externally Linked, But Non-Producing Pages, To Productive Pages Needing Links?
I'm working on a site that has some non-productive pages without much of an upside potential, but that are linked-to externally. The site also has some productive pages, light in external links, in a somewhat related topic. What do you think of 301ing the non-productive pages with links to the productive pages without links in order to give them more external link love? Would it make much of a difference? Thanks... Removing Low Rank Pages Help Others Shine?
Good Morning! I have a handful of pages that are not ranking very well, if at all. They are not driving any traffic, and are realistically just sorta "there". I have already determined I will not be bringing them over to our new web redesign. My question, could it be in our best interest to try and save these pages with ZERO traction and optimize them? Re-purpose them? Or does having them on our site currently muddy up our other pages? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Does Google still don't index Hashtag Links ? No chance to get a Search Result that leads directly to a section of a page? or to one of numeras Hashtag Pages in a single HTML page?
Does Google still don't index Hashtag Links ? No chance to get a Search Result that leads directly to a section of a page? or to one of numeras Hashtag Pages in a single HTML page? If I have 4 or 5 different hashtag link section pages , consolidated into one HTML Page, no chance to get one of the Hashtag Pages to appear as a search result? like, if under one Single Page Travel Guide I have two essential sections: #Attractions #Visa no chance to direct search queries for Visa directly to the Hashtag Link Section of #Visa? Thanks for any help

How to avoid content canibalizm? How do I control which page is the landing page?
Hi All, To clarify my question I will give an example. Let's assume that I have a laptop e-commerce site and that one of my main categories is Samsung Laptops. The category page shows lots of laptops and a small section of text. On the other hand, in my article section I have a HUGE article about Samsung Laptops. If we consider the two word phrases each page is targeting then the answer is the same - Samsung Laptops. On the article i point to the category page using anchor such as "buy samsung laptops" or "samsung laptops" and on the category page (my wishful landing page) I point to the article with "learn about samsung laptops" or "samsung laptops pros and cons". Thanks

Links to Facebook pages
I would like to ask if anyone has any knowledge regarding linking to a company's facebook page. I have built a few links to a client's facebook page in an effort to have it rank better in SERPs. I just learned that unlike twitter and linkedin, it is apparently not possibly to directly link to facebook pages. At least it is not possible from a search engine's perspective. If you follow any facebook page link while you are not logged into facebook, you are redirected to the facebook home page. I can't think of any way around this obstacle. I'd love some clever solution such as providing a URL which includes a basic dummy facebook login but there is nothing I am aware of to achieve this result. Does anyone have any ideas on this topic?
