How google identify that web page was updated and want to index again?
-
How Google robot identify that these many pages were updated on particular web site?
-
You have to update your blog, and when the Google Starts to Crawl regularly - no problem for you.
But you should add the Timestamp in the post or article content. !
-
Thanks for your quick response. Is it good practice if we add "Last-Modified" meta tag on page header.
-
You can return a header last-modified, LastMod in your sitemap, or use the Fetch As Googlebot in WMT and then submit the page to the index.
Even with any of these in place, Google automatically re-crawls your site every few days/weeks or even hours...

Sitelink (meta) descriptions in Google SERP
Hi, I am probably not the only one having this question regarding the quality of sitelinks in organic results. When your search returns sitelinks, I know the only thing you can do to avoid certain sitelinks to appear is to demote it for that search result. But what can you do about the description. For the main result you are pretty much able to create an appealing description, but when the sitelinks appear, all sitelinks display these crappy 'composed' descriptions. I've read Google did some tests a couple of years ago with multiple descriptions and multiple titles, but this doesn't cover the issue I just described. Is there a way to create 'sitelink descriptions'? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Is this caused by EMD update or other reason?
Hi, I have question, which im not sure this problem caused by latest EMD or something other. Its more likely by EMD update, and i think the same, but to be sure that i`m right i want to ask. Example: We have Client which previous month(and as i remember always was) was #1 by brand keyword on Google.co.uk with URL that ends with .co.uk. What we see today that now it`s ranked on #2, on first place now our US site with the same URL but ending with .com. So they switched positions. And the question is, can this situation caused by EMD update? To clarify US site is more popular, has about 6 times more external links than UK, Domain, page authority and all other SEO things are higher. P.S Same situation i see only for 2 clients all other are as previous. Thanks, Sergey
