Google+, Link from My Site to Author's Google+ Page or to Company Google+

Recently I verified authorship for my Website. So the image from my personal Google+ account appears in search results.
My website has a Google+ social media button. Should the link point to my corporate Google+ account or to my personal Google+ account? What is more credible from Google's point of view? What are best practices for this issue?

Hi there, could you be more specific about which G+ button the question is about? There are several different types. Better yet, are you able to share a link to your site?

It depends of what you want... would you like to make some friends or business conections ( if you are a freelancer) or would you like to have a better corporate Google+ account?
I would point to corporate Google+ account because your personal account it is to show google ( and users in the search) who is the writer (authorship) of the content. If your content have good quality this is good for all sites you write.

Is there a Bug or other problem with Facebook Page 'invite friends' feature ?
Hi Im trying to use the invite friends feature on Facebook pages to send a page invite to some email contacts, as per #3 in this SME recent post of FB tips: http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/five-lesser-known-facebook-page-features-for-marketers However whenever i click the 'invite friends' option the dialogue box swirls for a bit then disapears and nothing whatsoever happens, not just not being able to see invite email options but nothing at all happens, the loading box just disapears. Does anyone know if this is a current know issue bug or other way of doing this so it works ? (I have tried on 3 different pages) Many Thanks Dan

Company Facebook and Personal Facebook with company name.
I am helping a company get their social profiles and networking in order, and just realized that they have a facebook page that is their "company page" - https://www.facebook.com/Capitol.Collision.Repair.Phoenix and one that is a person called their company: https://www.facebook.com/capitol.collisonis their any benefit to having both of them still active or should I just get rid of the "personal profile" and keep the company page? any advice would be really helpful! Is it possible to Merge a Google+ Page with Google Places/local Page on G+
I have seem to have a problem (well think its a problem!) We have a google+ page for our website/ brand (which is verified) and also seem to have a separate google places G+ page (the one with just two tabs at the top.. Photos and About). When you google our brand, google has added a google+ page link but this links to the places one and not our social g+ page. Is it possible to merge these two pages into one? ps i have added rel="publisher" directing to the main google+ page (not local) on the home page and the local G+ page is not verified. Ben

Social Icons Link to Inner Pages
We have the social icons (facebook, twitter, youtube etc) in the footer of our homepage linked to inner pages instead of our actual social accounts. So, if you click on the facebook icon you go to one of our inner pages talking about our facebook profile and why to like us on facebook. Then on this inner page you can get to our facebook profile. We do this so we can pass on PR juice from our homepage to our inner page, and not lose it right off our front page. Is this a good idea? Or does it just confuse users? Most people think when they click on a facebook icon they will go to an actual facebook profile. Google+1 on site or on google+ for SEO?
Hi Have just read an inspiring post by Cyrus @ www.seomoz.org/blog/tips-to-use-google-for-seo But before I ask my existing social media contacts and email lists who have a Google account to +1 my site, what offers most benefit from a search visibility perspective? Should I ask my contacts to +1 my homepage (there is a +1 button on there) or Click on the +1 button on my businesses Google+ page and also ask them to join my circles? Hope this makes sense? Does anyone know a good way to find the number of Facebook Likes or Google +1's across an entire domain? It looks like SEOMoz only shows these metrics for individual pages.
