Do DoubleClick DART Tags degrade link juice to your site?
-
My site has a content distribution agreement with Yahoo Finance for the daily articles we publish. It's delivered to them via XML, and while we don't have in-line links within the article, we do have
1. Clickable Logo image
2. Standard language at the end of the article with a link back to our registration page
We use DART clicktags (http://ad.....) that redirects to our homepage combined with ?src=YahooFinance&affiliateId=77 query strings that are generated by these clicks to measure registration and sources
My question is twofold.
1. Are the doublclick clicktags hurting the valuable linkbacks from Yahoo Finance for picking up our content
2. What should be done with the query string extentions once people land. We still want to see that data in our Google Analytics, so is a rel=canonical the appropriate solution?

This is exactly what I'm trying to determine as well. My initial findings tilt toward very low seo value but haven't found a definitive answer.

Massive Influx of Total Links - But External Links are Dropping?
Hey Moz Community, I was checking out the Links on one of my client's sites, as they were hit with spammy external links about a year ago, and noticed a large influx of Total Links to the site. According to Moz, external links have actually dropped over the last few months, so I can only assume they are internal links. But, I don't see how my client could add so many internal links over the past 5 months, as they don't do much besides upload new products (they're an ecommerce clothing retailer) via Shopify. They haven't added much over the past half year either. Total links were about 130K in Oct 2019; today, the site has almost 1 million. I've attached some screenshots for reference via Moz to better illustrate the issue. Appreciate any insights into this. Thank you in advance! hhCCUsk lyGltZD

Switching site from http to https. Should I do entire site?
Good morning, As many of you have read, Google seems to have confirmed that they will give a small boost to sites with SSL certificates this morning. So my question is, does that mean we have to switch our entire site to https? Even simple information pages and blog posts? Or will we get credit for the https boost as long as the sensitive parts of our site have it? Anybody know? Thanks in advance.

Press release not giving me my link juice
The other day we released a press release, see it here http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20120717006087/en/Rapid7-Metasploit-Pro-Increases-Vulnerability-Management-Efficiency. I asked them to include two links (seen in the first paragraph) with targeted anchor text (vulnerability management and penetration testing). The press release was published and when I check the open site explorer to see if I got any link juice from the press release, I am not seeing the link...ugh I noticed that they are using some sort of tracking code that seems to be redirecting the link, is this the problem? I talked to our sales rep at businesswire and he told me that they could take the code off if that is what needs to be done. Do you have any insight into this or have you ever ran into this problem?
