Anyone heard of Spider Linker?
-
Has anyone heard or used Spider Linker? In a nutshell, they use their AI to generate content for long term keywords and drive traffic, but this could mean they are building 1000s of pages.
http://www.youramigo.com/what-we-do/spider-linker-technology.html
If content is thin, then it would fail, but if they generate unique, rich content and 1000s of pages for long tail, it could work.
Thoughts?

I'd have to agree with Peter here, this sounds like a very risky option. Google can and will pick up on link networks which most automated link software work from. May work short term but eventually this sort of practice could end in a Google Penalty.

Hi Cyto
I have never heard of them, but sounds too good to be true IMHO.
There is no question over the importance of unique, rich content, but I have serious doubts that a piece of software can generate 1000s of pages of unique, coherent and relevant content.
I don't think there are many if any shortcuts to writing great content.
Sorry for being doubtful, but I hope that helps.
Peter

High charts, anyone used them? SEO impact/things to take into consideration
Hi there Moz Community, Our org is looking into implementing Highcharts, interactive charts on our website instead of having regular static chart images. I found this post recently about how Moz implemented them a while back, a couple years ago. https://moz.com/community/q/question-for-moz-developers-highcharts Moz made a pretty good case for them over alternatives. They would certainly keep people on the page longer, which is good, but is there anything else that I should take into account or think of before going ahead with this from an SEO perspective? Does anyone else have experience with them on their websites? Thanks

Click to Expand Content - Does anyone know if Google discounts this as a ranking signal ?
Hi All, I read an interesting answer from Tom Roberts on another question and one of things he mentioned was that there are conflicting reports about "Click to Expand " Content being discounted with a link to the article - https://www.seroundtable.com/google-hidden-tab-content-seo-19489.html My eCommerce uses this method on every landing page and tabs on our products pages so I am wondering if others had first hand knowledge of whether using these methods had affected their sites or not ?. I may try to experiment on a few pages to remove this and show all content at the bottom but it does kinda ruin the pages a bit so I wanted to know what peoples thoughts were before I screw up my pages and think about page redesign etc etc. Also , if I was to try it ,then how long should I experiment for ?. would a couple of weeks be sufficient providing google crawls them regually thanks Pete

Does anyone know of any tools that can help split up xml sitemap to make it more efficient and better for seo?
Hello All, We want to split up our Sitemap , currently it's almost 10K pages in one xml sitemap but we want to make it in smaller chunks splitting it by category or location or both. Ideally into 100 per sitemap is what I read is the best number to help improve indexation and seo ranking. Any thoughts on this ? Does anyone know or any good tools out there which can assist us in doing this ? Also another question I have is that should we put all of our products (1250) in one site map or should this also be split up in to say products for category etc etc ? thanks Pete

Does anyone know why my website's domain authority has dropped from 51 to 49
However this does not seem to be in isolation. All of my competitors websites have taken a similar 1 or 2 points hit. I am thinking that as an industry we may have been affected by a mutual linking site being taken down, redesigned or just loosing its own domain authority. We do rank well for our keywords and we have been on a continual rise since I took over in January, we do a little bit of a guest blogging and I am trying to build links to the site but I am doing it slowly. Would anyone else have an idea on what has happened that would cause 4 sites in the same industry to take a 1 or 2 point hit? Thanks, Emmet

Google Trends - API? Anyone Using This Data?
I'm looking for a way to track change in search volume for dozens or hundreds of keywords but Google Trends doesn't have an API as far as I can tell. Does anyone know of a good tool or method of extracting large amounts of data from Google Trends?
