Our site http://villasdini.com is offering beach villas on sunny Diani beach in Kenya.
I have a category with beach villas in Diani beach which I want to be shown in serp if somebody search for Diani beach villas, or Diani beach hotels, Diani beach accommodation etc.
I have also category with small boutique hotels, which I want to be shown in serp if somebody search for Diani beach villas, or Diani beach hotels, Diani beach accommodation etc. Should I also include Diani beach in titles?
Will that not be too much of Diani bech in titles? I am afraid I have anyway already too much of "Diani beach" keyword and perhaps I am even punished for it as I can't rank for this keyword at all almost a year:-( I also want to rank on Diani beach itself and I have created Diani beach page which I want to be shown in serp when somebody search for Diani beach.
I am kind of getting crazy of this:-( Any advice what I am doing wrong and what strategy I should rather do?
Thank you very much,
Iris

Thank you very much Eli Overbey
I am pretty sure I have there too much keywords like beach etc.
I guess I will need to work on better links, but where can I get such links? Who is normally linking to a website offering villas in Kenya? It is not a tutorial or something educational.
I am quite desperate of this:-(

Iris,
You may be keyword stuffing... I haven't read through your entire site, but do be careful. One of the best sayings someone ever taught me was: "When you are doing SEO for keywords, be good at it - don't be great". It's strange, but it makes sense. Don't over do it.
Instead, consider exploring other avenues such as link building. I've noticed you only have 8 unique domains pointing to your site. The resort / hotel industry is very difficult to compete in, so consider building a better link profile.
Besides the keywords, there could be other reasons you are not ranking.
Eli

IMG TITLE no longer used in Wordpress?
Err, when did this happen? Although you can still enter a Title in the WP image library, when inserting into a post the Title tag is not implemented. Alt text is there OK but not Title. There was a plugin around that restored this basic seo functionality but it's no longer available. I mean - honestly!

Google is not taking the title I set
Hi Everyone, I have the following website I am trying to SEO www.forcor.com.ar. As usual, the client decided to SEO the website after it was made by a developer that is not specialized in SEO. I am having the following issue. Google is not picking up the title I defined for the homepage. I have changed it multiple times and Google continues to take the title that was defined when the website was launched which was about 6 months ago. I also tried to verify if the title is being defined by some other website and so far I do not find any evidence that supports this. This is the title seen in the SERP (GOOGLE) as of 6 months ago - Forcor S.A: Repuestos Ford - Concesionario Oficial de Ford This is the one that is programmed via Yoast - <title>Repuestos Ford - Concesionario Oficial de Ford - Forcor S.A</title> The funny thing is that Google is picking up the correct Meta Description. Any suggestions on how to get Google to pick up the programmed title??? Another interesting fact is that Yahoo is picking up the correct title as you can see here

What are "stop" words in Title Tags?
My client is following his GoDaddy SEO Checklist, and it is reporting 5 errors in Title Tags, saying the Titles contain "stop" words. I can't figure out what these are. Any ideas?

Duplicate Title and Meta Description Tags in Shopify with this App
Hello. I'm finding that by adding the Ultra SEO app in Shopify, I now have duplicates of the Title tags and Meta Descriptions. It looks like it's pulling title tags from the Shop info, the product or page titles as well as the Title tag I add in Ultra SEO. The website is 1bigcookie.com. The duplicate meta descriptions are from the text I entered in the meta description field in Ultra SEO. I entered the canonical url code shopify specifies to help with duplicate content, but what about duplicate title and meta description tags on the same page?

Multible Dublicate Titles & Descriptions
Hi, I reviewed a site for a client recently and noticed when I produced a crawl report (SEOmoz) that there were thousands of pages with the same content. This is because the developer added a ticket booking system which has a page for each day up to 2017 (5 years). I see in my campaign monitoring that this results in 9,445 duplicate content errors. The site is only 3 months old and has a Google PR of 4 and is ranking reasonable well for main keywords. Just wondering if there is a way to fix this or should I leave it. Is it eventually going to result in problems?. I cant see these pages when I view the server with FTP - perhaps they are dynamically created. Pat

My blog title is getting added to my post title and I can't figure out how to remove it
Hello everyone, I am sure most of you guys know how to do this. I am finding that when my posts are listed in google, my blog title is added to my post title. 2 questions. 1. Is this hurting my rankings because the blog title is diluting my keywords making it look like I have a huge title? (the on page optimizer is dinging me for this. 2. I use a self hosted wordpress blog with the all in one seo plugin. Does anyone know how to remove the blog title from being appended to the post title? I thought I could do that in all in one seo by checking the rewrite title box and just having it say %post_title% but that didn't fix it. Also it was doing it before I checked that box as well. Any other ideas to try? Thanks

Post Title - Use the blog's name or not?
In the tile of my post, shoudl I used my blog's name in it at the end or emit the blog name. EX: title of post with keywords | name of blog OR EX: title of post with keywords The site's name is 3 words long, so I'm worrying that those extra words are diluting the keywords in the post's name that I'm trying to target.
