Hi,
I wouldn't use it either.
I was quite excited by it at first, but they let 'all sorts' in. Naturally, I searched for my niche, and found some articles, but clicking through to them revealed what I feared. whoever 'wrote' those posts either doesn't speak English as their first language or they used spinning software. I suspect it may be both, but either way I wouldn't want to be associated with such drivel.
Try myblogguest.com - it's the best guest blogging platform I've ever come across - get the paid version though because then you have access to the fantastic 'articles gallery', which is worth it, believe me.
Also, try tweeting something like: '#yourniche anyone looking for a guest blog about XYZ, #guestblogging' or something like that. You'd be surprised by the response - we have a really good regular guest blogging spot by reaching out via twitter. You may need to do a few variations, with keywords and hashtags and what-have-yous, but really try it. It won't cost you anything at all; and at least that way your outreach is with real people.
Also, try and find blogs to post on by doing backlink analysis - I have got a huge list just by going through our competitors backlinks. And the best thing about this is its infinite - your competition will always be adding new links. But, I wouldn't rely solely on backlink analysis (or any method for that matter - variety is the spice of life AND Link Building...)
Good luck whatever you decide to do.
Amelia
ps - I've recommended myblogguest to a few people on this forum. Let me explain, I have absolutely ZERO affiliation with myblogguest. I just use it as a customer. And happen to think it's the bizniz in terms of guest blogging!

I have no experience of using Triond so please take my comments in that context.
Personally, it would worry me to uss a service like that to put my articles as guest blog posts around the Internet. It raises some questions & concerns for me.
They say they put your blog posts on the most relevant sites, but what is to stop you finding these sites and doing that? Who owns these sites?
If these blogging sites are legitimate blogging sites then why can you not post on them, or are you just paying to put blog posts on someone's site? If that is the case then in essence you are buying links which Google outlaws for SEO.
Penguin has slapped many sites for gathering backlinks from low quality sites. What is there to say that some of the sites your blog posts will be posted on will not also be low quality.
IMHO, if you have the ability to write blog posts sharing your expertise and represent your business, then it is too risky to entrust that into someone else's hands to publish without clear control of where they will be published.
I hope that helps and as I say, the above is just my opinion and not from someone who has used Triond.
Peter

Rel-canonical vs Href-lang use for an international website.
I have a multi-country website that uses country subfolders to separate countries. When I run a Moz scan, I am getting canonical related alerts (this is probably related to some of our US content being duplicated on the other country websites). Shouldn't I be using href-lang instead since I am telling search engines that a certain article in country B, is just a copy of the same article in country A?

301 Redirecting from Static to Dynamic URLs. I think we messed up
I'm looking for some guidance on an issue I believe we created for ourselves and if we undo what we did. We recently added attributed search to our sites. This of course created a bunch of dynamically generated URLS. For various reasons, it was decided to take some of our existing static URLs and 301 redirect them to their dyanamic counterpart. Ex .../Empire-Paintball-Masks-0Y.aspx now redirects to .../Paintball-Masks-And-Goggles-0Y.aspx?Manufacturer=Empire Many of these stat URLS had top 3 rankings for their associated keywords. Now, we don't rank for anything. I realize that 301 redirecting is the way to go...if you NEED to. My guess is our drop in keyword ranking is directly tied to what we did. I'm looking for an solid argument to be made to my boss as to why we should not have done this and that it, more than likely has resulted in dropped keyword rankings and organic traffic. I welcome any input. Also, if we decided to revert back (remove all 301 redirects and de-index all dynamic URLS), what is the likely hood we can recapture some of this lost organic traffic? Can I disallow indexing in a robot.txt file to remove, say anything with a '?' in the URL? Would the above URL example (which was ranking in the top 3 in SERPs), have a good chance of finding its way back? thanks

Alternative Markup Challenge. Can anyone help?
I have a challenge around alternative markup. We currently operate a single domain with geo-targeted folders and alternative markup implemented. We are now now looking to expand this out to non-English content. Current Implementation; All generic English language content hosted on the main domain, with x5 English language content variations (locales) available under a folder structure (.com/en-us/ etc.). Alternative markup is in place for all locales within the HTML, implemented automatically by developers via the CMS. Locale folders geo-targeted via GWT and Bing WT. Planned Launch; Introduction of 5 new non-English locale folders (e.g. /de-de/ etc.), targeted to their respective country and language. Content language will be mixed, with around 1/10 of pages translated and the other 9/10 of pages (business listings) having their body content remain in English, with headers / footers translated. Locale folders will be geo-targeted via GWT and Bing WT. Folder and markup usage TBC. Options; Folders; Implement folder structure /de/, attempting to indicate country but not language (issue; usually a single identifier indicates language, not country?). Implement /de-de/ folder structure to match the English locales and maintain correct country targeting (issue; some content is not in language). Alternative markup; Do not make use of markup at all. Implement CMS based automated markup on all English and non-English content throughout the locale (e.g. /de-de/), but exclude English language versions (e.g. /en-gb/). Attempt manually implementing markup to bridge the English and non-English locales, potentially creating future issues with new content going live and content being removed. A heavy risk. Current approach is webmaster tools targeting, a /de-de/ folder structure and automated implementation of markup. This means English language URLs will have markup and non-English language URLs will have markup, but they will not match up (e.g. English pages will never have markup for non-English language content). If you minds haven't melted, what's your thoughts? Any help is much appreciated.

What do you think of this post? An ordered article or not???
Hi, Just encountered the following article on Digital Trends: http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/lg-z-rumored/ This is a huge and respected site. Notice, that whenever the word "smartphone" or "smartphones" is mentioned, there is a link to Sprint. Needless to say that Sprint has nothing to do directly with the article's subject (a new LG smartphone that may be coming soon). So, is this an ordered piece? Is this legit? Does it assist Sprint with the article that is not really related? Should I pursue these type of articles (links) for my site or only HUGE companies can get away with it? Any thoughts?

Which search engines still use Meta Keywords?
I know Google doesn't use meta keywords in meta tags, but i was wondering if there are other smaller search engines that still do? Id it worth it to add meta keywords for them?

Quickseoresults.com - Anyone used them?
Has anyone had any experience with or used quickseoresults.com? I'm just looking into them now. They seem to offer a 30 day free trial based on 'white hat' tactics that gives results. You can then pay to continue their services. They seem to base their services heavily around link building, so I'm dubious.

Should I use the main keyword in the title tag for the site on all category pages?
I am pretty excited about changing all my title tags (for the most important 7 pages) since I have seen my rankings jump up in the SERP just by adding the main keyword for my website in the title tag. To make it easier I will explain my business. Simply, I run an online jewelry shop, so basically the keywords I want to use is "Jewelry online" and for the main categories "Necklace", "Rings" and "Bracelets". What I am unsure about is whether to use all the keywords in the main pages title tag or should I just use the main keyword "Jewelry online". I don’t want to create competition between my own pages of course. Jewelry Online - Trendy Fashion Jewelry | Homepage Or Jewelry Online - Necklace, Rings, Bracelets | Homepage And the same goes for the main categories, should I include "jewelry online" or not, like: Bracelets - Fashion Jewelry Online | Homepage Or Bracelets - Trendy_ Bangles_ and Arm Cuffs | Homepage Any suggestions what is the best practice for the title tag on main page and the main categories? Thanks
