Facebook shared vs liked
-
Hi, looking at the "Open Site Explorer" I see :
| Times Shared on Facebook: | 12 | 25 | 7 | 8 | -- |
| Facebook Likes | 0 | 4 | 5 | 9 | -- |But what is the differencebetween Times Shared on Facebook and Facebook Likes??

Thanks Mike

Social signals can lead to a decent boost for a website. With the "downfall" of linking, many have looked to signals from social media sites as the new natural expression of a site's worth to their user base and as social proof of authority. It won't necessarily make you rank better in search results but it can be an integral part of the conversion funnel.

Thank you, I am considering putting AddThis buttons on my page https://www.addthis.com/get/sharing. So when I get their "share" buttons I get a facebook "like" button. Does this really matter in SEO performance do you think??
-
The difference is literally that one involves liking a page and one involves sharing a page. They are two separate functions that can be done independently of each other, i.e. I can Share your article without having to Like your website & I can Like pages on your site but not choose to share them. A Share is the use of the Share Button to share/post a page, article, etc. to a person's timeline, a friend's wall, and/or the timeline of a page that the person's account is associated with as an Admin. Whereas a Like is someone clicking a Like button associated with a page, article, etc. stating that they like/enjoy it.

Ahrefs vs Moz
Hi! I noticed the Moz DA en the Ahrefs DA are very different. Where https://www.123opzeggen.nl/ has a DA of 10 at MOZ, the DA at Ahrefs is 26. Where does this big difference come from? Do you measure in different ways? I hope you can answer this question for me. Thank you in advance!

Discrepancy between backlinks (opensiteexplorer vs. search console)
Hey there, when I check in search console for "Links to your site" and "your most linked content" I see incoming links pointing to the wrong (country and language) subdirectory? When I check those same backlinks with opensiteexplorer they seem to point (after redirects) to the correct subdirectory. Anyone out there with similar experiences or thoughts on this? I would be happy to give access to search console if you wanted to have a look at this. Moz doesn’t show the right facebook likes.
Hi moz help, I found out that in opensiteexplorer.org our Facebook likes counts zero, while my facebook account actually counts more than 600 likes. How is this possible? Did I not couple my facebook account correctly to my website? The address is http://www.onlinefietsonderdelenkopen.nl and the Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/onlinefietsonderdelenkopen

Moz vs google data conflict?
Hi there, I am doing an SEO site audit for a client(giveaway, and here is the problem: when performing site:domain.com on google --> 13,800 pages were found When I see this number it seems to be a bit too much compare to the links i checked on integrity(link check for broken links) which gave me a result of 1291. I digged in more into the Google results and saw hundreds(maybe thousands) of pages that are blocked by robots.txt. So I am thinking, ok this is it, thousands of pages can't be crawled by the search engines. Here is the big BUT though, then I check at my moz crawl (see attachment) and no pages are blocked by the SEs, and then look at the dups, only 23 recorded?? Is Moz not crawling properly the 13,800 results that google finds or is this some magical phenomenon happening here? I am really confused here that is why I need some help here! Thank you guys! Competitive Link Comparison vs. Open Site Explorer
I get different external followed links showing in the Competitive Link Comparison vs. Open Site Explorer. The total number of links is different as well. I thought this was the same info - just one tracks ongoing and one is just a "one-off" tool. Is this not the case? Do the count links differently? Thanks! Kevin

SEOMoz SERP Overlay Vs. Opensite Explorer
This may be a simple answer, but when I search for a term and see a website on the SERP, the SEOMoz tool bar shows link data beneath the link. For this site in particular, it shows 300+ links for the root domain and for the page, it shows 8 links. When I put that website in opensite explorer, it shows the same data for the "Page" stats (8 links from 3 root domains), but nowhere can I find where the 315 links from 4 domains comes from. So my questions is why do those links show in the SERP overlay, but not in OSE? il5y9.png
