Has anyone else seen sizable rops in Yahoo traffic over the last 30 days?
-
We've seen consistent traffic from yahoo of about 4000-5000 visitors a month from Yahoo traffic and then all of a sudden when pulling reporting for January 2013, we saw a very significant 40-50% drop from them.
We're not seeing any ranking changes in our terms on Yahoo and are curious if anyone else is seeing the drops which may indicate some incorrectly tagged bots, or something wrong from a Yahoo side.
While we (like most businesses) primarily focus on Google traffic, Yahoo still provides sizable traffic and a drop like this makes it noticeable. Anyone else seeing drops in Yahoo traffic for January?

Yahoo went secure recently which means the referrer data will be skewed.

Has anyone seen any research regarding URL structure correlating/impacting rank brain results?
We are currently writing some "rank brain-friendly" content and were wondering if anyone had seen or conducted research on best URL structure practices. Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks, Zach

Big change to title tags in SERPs for me, anyone else?
Beginning today, when I search in incognito mode, Google is giving me extremely limited titles, and not really going off of the title tag. The results are horrible for users, and make me nervous as an SEO. Image attached below: wGG7QRp

Organic Traffic dropped 50%. Anyone want to have a stab at why? (URL listed)
Just curious what the pro's on here think is the reason why our site got hammered recently. The URL is www.jobshadow.com. We've got gobs of quality content that had been ranking for quite a few keywords. Even one from Rand himself http://www.jobshadow.com/interview-with-seo-and-seomoz-founder-rand-fishkin/ Rankings for even the exact match domain keyword 'Job Shadow' have been pummeled. Anyway, we've got a pretty solid link profile I would think. We also have a very high user time on the site, thus suggesting the organic traffic was engaged when Google ranked us for those keywords. We have lots of unsolicited inbound links and even recent ones from PBS. I'm not really sure what it takes to please the "machine" at this point. Curious as to what everyone here thinks.

The Google/Yahoo Connection
I have been telling myself and clients for a while that you do not need to specially SEO things for different search engines. While I stand by this (staunchly) I can't help but notice how SLOW yahoo is to pick up my SEO updates and rank them as compared to google. Sometimes I see Rank increases within a day or two (or sooner) But Yahoo is still well behind in their caching and calculations.

Did the Bing/Yahoo deal change?
I just went to my campaign to check on rankings, and my Bing rankings are wildly different from my Yahoo rankings. None of the keywords are even close, every one is very different. Anyone know what is happening here? Shouldn't they still be the same?

Rankings in Bing/Yahoo lower than in Google
Other than a few keywords, my rankings are consistently lower in MSN/Bing/Yahoo than in Google. Any ideas or suggestions as to why?
