Some products not shown in SERP
-
I have some products, which are not shown in Google SERP. Here is a link for basic SERP report, here is another for the product on my site. MOZ's Grade Tool: A
Why isn't my site showing up on Google results pages for this keyword?
Thank you!

First step, is to check that the page is indexed - which is it. So then it is a matter of ranking, which is a huge topic of course, so let me point you to some resources that have already covered how to rank;
- http://blog.crazyegg.com/2013/09/12/on-site-ecommerce-seo/
- http://pointblankseo.com/link-building-strategies
In general if your on page grade is an A you may need to continue making the site more popular with links, social media, referral traffic etc. For example the link metrics show a fairly low DA of 35 and online 10 linking root domains.

Hi Dennis! What do you mean by that website? That URL is from a price comparison website.
For metas: I am just recently added meta-description [Category-name. Product-description].
Categories: I am recently started to add nice descriptions to categories
Inernal linking: they were product tags ([product_name], [model_name], [manufacturer_name], [categories_names] ->with URL) on the product page, but I removed.
So linkbuilding is still necessary?

You might want to look at this

you might have some more that have issues being passed over to you
As for your page, you can optimise it a bit more with content. Better metas. Improve your categories and internal linking.
That should be enough (of course you still need the links as well)

How to be above the product maker website
Hello, I am the exclusive reseller of a product in Switzerland. However, when I type the name of the product the maker of the product appears 1 st on google with its website instead of my website that ends in .ch ? I appear nowhere when I type the product name and my website has been online for more than 6 months. How can I make sure I appear 1 st above the maker of that product ? The only place I appear is in the right side with the adresse and phone number but I would like to appear in the search results (blue links). Thank you,

SERP: From page 4 to page 1 to page 4 again -_- ...
Hi there Moz Amigos! So I have this Website: campmusicaladagio.com Right now, our main target keyword is "camp de jour gatineau". The website was on WIX before. So, I created the worpress version and redirected the domain name to the new hosting server (outside of WIX). So before doing the changes, the website was on page 4... After the changes, it went in 1 week on page 1 (lol, WIX sucks so much). After 3 weeks on page 1, it went on page 4 again... I am so confused XD like what the hell happen... Any ideas?

Mixed branches / targeting countries results in the SERP
hi all, I have one hard nut to break and I would like to kindly ask you for any idea / help 🙂
Local Website Optimization | | execom99
we have web page localized to multiple languages targetting different countries.
e.g. we have: domain.com/int/ ... default in english, in search console / Internation targeting / Country with Target users in "Unlisted"
domain.com/uk/ ... english for UK, Target users in "United Kingdom"
domain.com/de/ ... german content for Germany, Target users in "Germany"
... etc. Each branch (country specific) has its own sitemap.xml covering approx 50-60% of all the pages for the specific branch and for most of these pages we have set hreflang (rel="alternate") for most important product pages. There are some issues in the sitemaps we are fixing (e.g. no returning link) so my assumption is that google may not use the sitemap, therefore, hreflang is not in use (it is part of sitemap). For example, one branch can have 150 pages submitted and 30 indexed in Sitemap detail of search console. The problem is, that when for example I search for the product name from Germany (google.de and German's IP through VPN in browser's incognito mode) I'm receiving mixed results. Our product names and technology are rather english, e.g. "cloud protection" and it is also phrase German user would search for. But in SERP he gets results from our domain.com/uk and also from our domain.com/sg which is completely wrong. Is there a way to really prevent it ?
thanks

Need Awesome Examples of Well-Designed Service & Product Pages
I'm looking for some examples of really well built product/service pages that have great conversion points on them. I find most small businesses do a terrible job at highlighting their features & benefits (the "why") for their services and wanted some inspiration from those that are doing a fabulous job.

Competitor significantly jumped in SERP rankings
We opened a new location in a new market in early February and eventually tapered off improving SERP rankings when we reached an average rank of #3. As we began increasing in ranking, the competitions' average rankings we're declining. Suddenly, in April, one of our competitors spiked to an average SERP ranking of #1. The site that jumped to the top of SERP was a location page and there was no content changes, or changes to their website. Our competitor's links also decreased during the time of this spike. Does anyone have any ideas as to what caused our competitor to spike so high, so suddenly? Thanks,

What's your opinion on stores with multiple locations around the country that sell the same products?
Is there a way to capture local SEO traffic by only having one website/page for our product pages or do we have to have a website for each location even though the content is identical? We do have a location finder where we list each location. But we want to generate local traffic in the cities we are in to our product pages through SEO, but it's difficult because they all sell the exact same product. We know Google doesn't like duplicate content.

How can I get a Google places 'widget' displaying on SERPS?
Hi all, My query relates to the Google Places 'Widget' (not sure what they are called exactly). If you do a search for, let's say 'Apple' you get the regular SERPs and on the right of the page they display a Google Places panel which includes map, company details & reviews. (and also a G+ panel for some businesses, where appropriate) What determines this being displayed? I had presumed a correctly formatted and optimised 'Places' page and making sure this was linked and verified. We have Google Places set up for quite a long time (and verified) but for some reason it's not being displayed. Any thoughts? On another note, a client of ours has the opposite issue - they would like to remove this panel from SERPs. I'm guessing the only way to do that would be to remove the Google Places page? Thanks in advance...
