Internal Linking
-
OSE only shows me as having 24 internal links on my home page. My internal links and total links are far less than my competitors, some of whom have 1700 on a single page. My site is www.CenterCityTeam.com and an example of a competitor with far more internal links is www.McCannTeam.com. 1) How do I get that many internal links on a page and 2) do I even want to?

There is definitely no need to strive for more internal links pointing from your home page unless your internal pages are suffering from being "orphaned" (not linked to from anywhere) or having very few internal / external links pointing to them. You definitely don't need 1,700 links pointing out from your home page and it's doubtful the number of links on any one page is used as a ranking factor of any particular significance.
The goal should be to pass PageRank to important parts of the website and aid usability, so if 24 links is doing that job for you, then 24 links is doing that job right.

Links send link juice to other pages, this is the same for internal links. It is not so much the number of internal links as the pattern of internal links that's is important. Using your internal links you can push page rank on to certain pages (Usually the home page). Lets say that you homepage ends up with twice as much PageRank as your other pages, then as your site gets more external links the incoming link juice will follow that existing pattern.

Internal Linking Anchor text
Hallo everybody, I am trying to improve internal linking but I am little bit confused about internal linking title. Should I use Kenya all-inclusive accommodation, Kenya full board accommodation etc or I should be using the title without the destination name, all-inclusive accommodation, full board accommodation? My worry is if it will not be too much of Kenya in each title. Any advice what is the best practice? Thank you very much

Internal Links - Anchor Text - Strategy
Good Morning... I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or advice on an internal linking strategy for an e commerce website. I was thinking about adding a link to all of the subcategory pages that says: "View All : main keyword" and having my main keyword hyperlinked back to the home page. This would provide users who have gotten to a subcategory page that may not be exactly what they are looking for simply click that link and go back to the home page to select a different category.... Would having an internal link with the same anchor text on roughly 30 pages hurt my rankings? Wouldn't that help users navigate through my site? As always, any thoughts/advice or strategy tips are appreciated. Thanks

Reciprocol Links
Am I correct in stating that linking to every article about your company is a bad idea. I see a lot of sites with followed links to the articles that link to them. Is this not devaluing the link? I've been recommending removing the links or no indexing the page and no following the links. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Breadcrumbs - Good Internal Link Structure
Hello SEO Experts, I've been puting some thught into my internal link structure, and looking at breadcrumbs, as it has recently occured to me that most of the pages on my site link to Home | Contact Us | and paes and anchor text like that. Don't get me wrong my home page is really important, but anchor text of home I'm assuming is doing me no good at all? Anyway, here is my site home page And three other pages that are included within the site >> Pg1 | Pg2 | Pg3 So the four pages are targeting differnt keywords What I was planing on foing for Pg2 was having a breadcrumb trail that read like so site home page > Pg1 > Pg2 And then have the detail pages link from that with breadcrumbs like site home page > Pg1 > Pg2 > detail page with the home page link anchor text being 'jobs in (site area)' which would be followed by 'jobs in city' and then followed by 'sector jobs in city' So the breadcrumb trail would read - 'jobs in (site area)' > 'jobs in city' > 'sector jobs in city' So my question is, is this the best way of doing this, or would this be spammy? Ultimately it would mean 500+ internal links pointing at my homepage with the desired keywords in the anchor text?? Thanks for your thoughts 🙂

JavaScript is crawled by search engines, isn’t it? Does it mean that links embedded in JavaScript pass link juice?
I wonder If links embedded in JavaScript from an external Website pass link juice to the linked page and thus have a positive effect on google rankings. I read that JavaScipt is craweld. Does it mean that also the link juice is passed? I'm looking forward to your answers.
