Moz Crawl Showing Duplicate Content But It's Not?!
-
Unfortunately I can't give out the URL, but here's the deal... I have two URL's which have completely different content on them but are being crawled as duplicate content. Any Idea how that would happen?
I'm not seeing any errors in WMT's.
Has anyone seen this before?
Is the duplicate content reporting based on a % of the page content matching as the same?
-
As Prestashop pointed out, there is an existing thread on the subject. I've added some details about the implementation to the existing thread.
-
I am pretty sure it does match a % of the text. We talked about that the other day over in this thread, http://moz.com/community/q/crawl-showing-duplicate-content-but-no-duplicate-content

Hello, In the related topic feature now called content suggestions https://moz.com/blog/related-topics-in-moz-pro. Are the words indicated words to include in my content or are they "topics" to talk about using words that would describe those words turning these words into concepts ? Thank you,

Does Organic CTR from Keyword Explorer show percentage of 1st position clicks? If not, how to calculate?
I have two questions about the Organic CTR number from the Moz Keyword Explorer tool. I have read through the description here, but it is not very clear on what I need to know: https://moz.com/community/q/what-is-a-good-keyword-opportunity-score Does it calculate the percent of searchers that are likely to click on ANY of links from page one of the traditional organic search results? Or does it calculate the percent of searchers that are likely to click on the NUMBER 1 position of the traditional organic search results? I suspect the answer will be that it calculates the percentage of clicks for any of the traditional organic search results from page one. Which leads me to question two... I'm trying to calculate the estimated search traffic from each keyword if there was a number 1 ranking. And if the Organic CTR shows the percentage of clicks going to any of the traditional organic search results I need to add a modifier to my formula which will calculate how many clicks the number 1 ranking receives. So I think the formula would will look something like this: Monthly website traffic from keyword = monthly search traffic * Organic CTR * Number 1 Position CTR. In this case, what would I use for the "Number 1 Position CTR" modifier?

Crawl Notifications
Hi, I'm well aware that the title's for all of my blog post are longer than the recommended length. How can I tell moz to ignore that? I hate seeing 80 plus crawl notifications all regarding this.

408 errors in crawl diagnostics
Best community, The Crawl Diagnostics Report of Moz gave our website a lot of 408 errors like below:

Title

408 : Error

Meta Description

408 Request Time-out

Meta Robots

Not present/empty

Meta Refresh

Not present/empty

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The report has diagnosed a lot of these (around 320), even though we cannot reproduce the error (we cannot seem to find it ourself).

2 questions relating to this:

* Can you (the people of Moz) reproduce the errors manually?

* Is it possible that it is a bug in the spider of Moz itself (too many spiders crawling at the same time)?
