Moz Crawl Test Trying to Crawl Contact Form Submit Button Location?
-
Moz Crawl Test for some reason is trying to Crawl a contact form Widget Submit Location. My obvious guess is that obviously the crawl cannot submit to the required fields…..I believe this because they're only kicking back these errors on the pages I have a contact form widget on.

Error attempting to request page; see title for details. 404Can you shed any insight to this? I'm a bit worried that I'll have to complete gut the contact form which was one of the major requests my client requested. Or in a worse scenario make all fields not required. It would let so much spam in.
I have never seem anything like this at all. But I've learned a lot from Moz, and with major errors like 404 damage Domain Authority greatly. I've fixed 404 issues with newly acquired clients existing sites and tracked through Moz and the domain authority flies up once these errors are fixed. Along with fixing what Webmaster Tools through Google reports back.
..... Let me know if you have any expertise on this matter.

Thanks a bunch! From your input I was able to clearly see our contact form is in fact setup as a link instead of a button. Appreciate your input greatly.

I am guessing that the form is using a link instead of a button. The simple solution is to edit the link that the form is using and make it a no follow link. Then the crawler will not try to follow the link and submit the form.

Moz bot has trouble crawling Angular JS - I believe it's seeing the SPA (Single Page Application) before Universal. Anyone else have this issue? What is the fix?
The Moz bot user agent detection settings are able to read Universal, but the Single Page Application (SPA) version partially loads on the website before Universal. Because of this, Moz (and possibly search engines) think we have massive duplicate content issues. For example, the crawl report said a particular product page (which has about 1,000 words) has 33,000 words and has duplicate content with over 300 other pages. This makes me believe it's only picking up the SPA version. Has anyone come across this, and what would be the fix?

Can Moz Keyword Explorer help target keywords for Google Images results?
I'm wondering if I can use Keyword Explorer (or maybe another tool?) to target keywords for image rankings. I'd like to play around with optimizing images so that they appear in search results and thus provide traffic - but wasn't sure the best way to track that kind of progress. My ultimate goal is to analyze the difficulty of ranking for a certain keyword via Google images. (I do know to optimize alt tag/title tag/place in relevant article etc, but wanted to know if I could research the difficulty). Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Moz Rankings vs DuckDuckGo
Hello, So we have a client that’s only interested in a handful of keywords. We would like track his rankings through a Moz Campaign but he currently uses Duck Duck Go to check them. Strictly from an accuracy perspective (and not necessarily added features like Mobile Rankings) is there any arguments we could use to convert them to Moz? If not we will let them know but any input would be appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from all of you! Thank you in advance for the help. Best,

Moz Crawl Test: Referrer is sitemap.gz?
Hi,
Moz Bar | | Titan552
I'm looking at a crawl test report, and I'm seeing that most of the pages have the sitemamp.gz file listed as the referrer. As I recall in my other reports the referrer is usually the root domain - unless of course there's a redirect. Does having sitemap.gz as the referrer indicate a problem? If so, what problem does it indicate? Thanks!0 -
