Crawl Report Internal Links Count
-
We recently ran a crawl report on www.phase1tech.com. Some of the pages are coming back with a large amount of 'internal links'. These 2 pages for example are showing 800 internal links:
http://www.phase1tech.com/Upcoming-Events
http://www.phase1tech.com/ContactAt best there are approximately 70 links on the page. Where is the 800 number coming from?

Thank you for the reply Abe. Perhaps I am not following.
The crawl report has distinct columns for Internal Links and External Links per page.
According to the description of the report (What's included in my Crawl Test report?):Internal Links Number of links on a page that point to the same domain as that page.
Linking Root Domains Number of root domains that link to this page.
External Links Number of links on a page that point to a page that is not on the same domain as that page.Referring again to actual pages from the report:
Page / Internal Links / Linking Root Domains / External Links
http://www.phase1tech.com/Upcoming-Events / 800 / 1 / 0
http://www.phase1tech.com/Contact / 800 / 1 / 0
http://www.phase1tech.com/FLIR-Cameras / 724 / 1 / 0Is the report incorrect then?

Hello George, I'd love to help! That 799 number you are seeing is the Total Linking Pages number, meaning external pages from other websites linking to you, as well. After peeking at your site, you do in fact only have 70 Internal links in your site. I hope this helps!

Canonical in Moz crawl report
I'm wondering if the moz bot is seeing my rel="canonical" on my pages. There are 2 notices that are bothering me: Overly Dynamic URL Rel Canonical Overly Dynamic URL - This notice is being generated by urls with query strings. On the main page I have the rel="canonical" tag in the header. So every page with the query string has the canonical tag that points to the page that should be indexed. So my question...Why the notice? Isn't this being handled properly with the canonical tag? I know I can use my robots.txt or the tool in Google search console but is it really necessary when I have the canonical on every page? Here is one of the links that has the "Overly Dynamic URL" notice, as you can see the the canonical in the header points to the page without the query string: https://www.vistex.com/services/training/traditional-classroom/registration-form/?values=true&course-title=DMP101 – Data Maintenance Pricing – Business Processes&date=March 14, 2016 Rel Canonical - Every page in my report has this notice "Using rel=canonical suggests to search engines which URL should be seen as canonical". I'm using the rel="canonical" tag on all of my pages by default. Is the report suggesting that I don't do this? Or is it suggesting that I should? Again...why the notice?

Issues generating pdf reports
When generating a pdf from a Custom report we get 'oops there must have been an error...try again" - well we have been trying again and again. Can you provide a tad more diagnostics other than 'oops'?

Moz reporting for C-Blocking
Hey Mozers, I see Moz has a reporting tool for C-blocking and for november I had 330. Does this mean 330 Ip addresses came from the same location in the month of november?

Moz Crawl Test says pages have no internal links
Greetings, I am working on a website, https://www.nasscoinc.com, and ran a Moz Crawl Test on it. According to the crawl test, only 2 of the website's hundreds of pages are receiving internal links. When I run a similar test on the site using Screaming Frog, I see that most of the pages have at least one internal link. I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before with the crawl test; and there is a way to get the crawl test to see the internal links? Thanks!

Find all the back links to all the posts/pages within the blog subdirectory only.
Hi, I am new to Moz. I using the open site explorer to find backlinks for a website's blog. The website itself is huge. I want to find all the backlinks to all the posts/pages within the blog subdirectory only. Not the regular website. I ran a few reports, but it is giving me links to that page, not all the sub pages.Fi

How do I get Moz to crawl my site?
If I'm not mistaken, Moz will crawl my site once a week and let me know of any errors, notices etc.. But can I ask them to crawl once I have updated all the errors? or do I have to wait for them to do this automatically?
