Integrate video - only thumbnail?

Hi!
If I integrate a video to my website (vimeo or youtube) the pagespeed slows down.
Now I integrate my video in wordpress with special plugins. These plugins shows only the thumbnail, only if the user clicks on these thumbnail, the video is loading. So is my pagespeed perfect ...
.. buuut now my question:
Google loves tables, images, video ...
Sees google these thumbnail still as a video or now only as a image?

Since the image is linking to the video, it should know that there's a video behind it. However, it also depends a lot on the code of how the plug-in works. It would be helpful to know the URL of your site and an example URL of video on your site doing this.

The question is ... Knows the google crawler that a video is behind these thumbnail in my content? Or sees he only a image?

Google's actually removed video snippets from most of its SERPs, if that's what you're concerned about. Check out this smart post from Casey Henry at Wistia.

Already ranking high for blog, should I produce video?
I run a website with affiliate links (reviews) and successful YouTube channel. Most of the time we lost the YouTube video review and text review at the same time. I’ve created a couple posts that rank high without a video. But now they are proving to be successful, I’m wondering if it makes sense to now produce a video. If so, do I use the exact keyword? Or a variation? Only about 10% of our YouTube views come from Google Search. Most of our blog traffic is organic.

Posting a video on your site and also on youtube
Hi, Quick question. I have a content page which contains a youtube embedded video. I want to rank that page for a specific keyword phrases on google. I also want to rank the video youtube url aswell for the exact same specific keywords. Does anyone from experience know if this would be considered duplicate content (same video) or work? Same video on both URLs but the video on my site has additional valuable content surrounding the video. Regards, Jerry

What is the best way to host a video on my site from a SEO perspective?
Hi, we are in the process of creating a video about a topic that is highly relevant for our customers. Once it is completed we want to offer the video to our customers so that they can embed it into their own websites for free. What is the best way to do this and still receive maximum SEO juice? If we use a a video service like youtube or vimeo, then the link will go to vimeo or youtube and not our site. One thing we are thinking about is asking our customers to link to our site in return for embedding the video, but if there is an automatic solution then this would be a lot better. Hi, we are having some issues on our video site so I don't think we will be able to host them for a while, I think we will be uploading them to YouTube, so is there a tool/software that can help me make video sitemaps for my videos in YouTube?
