Open Site Explorer Top Pages https Title tag issue
-
Hello, everybody.
I've noticed this strange thing in Top Pages reporting of Open Site Explorer. If i do a report for any website which doesn't have security certificate installed, such as http://www.hyperlinksmedia.com I get normal results, with title tag shown for every page, but, if i do a report for website with Security certificate, such as https://www.hyperlinksmedia.com, report is coming back for non-secure URL version (http:...), so, it says "No Title" for any pages. I wonder, if it influence PA and DA scores.
Although, if i run full crawl test, then i shows all meta and title tags for SSL version of a website's url.
Thanks!

Here is what i got after talking to moz-help people. Thanks to David Lee.
Sorry for the confusion! The pages are not returning a title due to the pages having a 301 re-direct at the time we crawled them which was in November. For any pages with a 301 we will not have any information for the title and we do not show re-directed URLs in the app. If we were to re-crawl the site we will be able to update the data to show the https links.
You can see back in December the site was still resolving the http version which had the 301 re-direct in place: https://web.archive.org/web/20140625093032/http://www.hyperlinksmedia.com/
There are some new links in the queue for us to re-crawl the site so you may see better information after our next index release. It can take 2-3 index updates for them to appear.

Hello Charles, this is Abe from the Moz Help team. I have not seen this particular issue, I think you may have found a bug or unknown limitation of our tool. Can you write in to help@moz.com with this information so that we can try to figure out the cause of the "No Title" labels ? Thanks again for the heads up!

Link Explorer is not working for particular domain
Hello, Linking Domain section in Link Explorer is not working fine for sewingmachineprice.com. When I put this domain to analyze for backlinks it says, "You entered the URL https://sewingmachineprice.com/ which redirects to www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=sewingmachineprice&e=com. Click here to analyze www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=sewingmachineprice&e=com instead." In fact, this domain is not redirected to any third domain or URL. I personally checked it and can access this website without any redirection.

Why would a site (competitor) show up in Keyword SERPs Analysis but not show up in Rank Tracker for the same keyword?
I used Rank Tracker to evaluate a specific site for "geofencing software" - the result was "not in the top 50." However, if I go to Keyword SERP analysis and put in the same keyword "geofencing software," it shows the specific site within the first page results in SERP. I verified the ranking with a google search of my own and the site does show in the first page results. Why is Rank Tracker not matching Keyword SERP results?

612 : Page banned by error response for robots.txt
Hi all,
Link Explorer | | ME5OTU
I ran a crawl on my site https://www.drbillsukala.com.au and received the following error "612 : Page banned by error response for robots.txt." Before anyone mentions it, yes, I have been through all the other threads but they did not help me resolve this issue. I am able to view my robots.txt file in a browser https://www.drbillsukala.com.au/robots.txt.
The permissions are set to 644 on the robots.txt file so it should be accessible
My Google Search Console does not show any issues with my robots.txt file
I am running my site through StackPath CDN but I'm not inclined to think that's the culprit One thing I did find odd is that even though I put in my website with https protocol (I double checked), on the Moz spreadsheet it listed my site with http protocol. I'd welcome any feedback you might have. Thanks in advance for your help.

Guys and Girls, I'm having a weird issue in one of my sites , thing is the site had DA 11 in July and however when check on September Site is having 26 without me doing any type of link building and there are no new posts for this month as well. When checked using open site explorer there are no backlinks indexed in their Mozcape index as well. Site: http://www.beijingtravelchannel.com/ Can you give me any plausible reasons for this to happen, so that i can check them out. Thanks in Advance.0 -
Open Site Explorer: Error receiving data
Hi, When searching many URLs in Open Site Explorer, we seem to be getting the same "There was an error getting your data" message come up instead of the URL's metrics and inbound links. We have tried on different browsers as well, and the same issue results. Is there a reason for this or a way to fix this? Thank you! voPdqF5.png?1

My title has a TM symbol and Moz says I don't have the keyword in my title
Moz gave me a poor rating because I don't have the keyword in my title but I do, it just has a trademark symbol. Pelican 1500 Case is the keyword I'd like to rank for on this page: http://www.thepelicanstore.com/pelican-1500-case-1014.aspx Moz says the keyword doesn't exist on the page. Should I ignore it, remove it or otherwise change it? I feel the trademark symbol would help with CTR in the title.

Why is my website providing no feedback on the Open Site Explorer?
Basically, whenever i type in my URL, http://www.locksmithplusincportlandor.com, I am presented with the following message: "It looks like we haven't discovered established link data for this URL yet." I have gone through all of the reasons why this could be, and none of them apply to my current situation. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Moz & Other Sites Not Showing in Link Profile?
I'm curious to know why Moz, YouTube, G+ and some other links are not showing the OSE link profile as NOFOLLOW or DOFOLLOW for our website whiteboardcreations.com? When doing analysis, we see a lot of companies YouTube pages with their NF link and G+ page links and even see a lot of the Moz community members with their Profile pages showing the NF link or the DF links. I'm confused as to why OSE is not picking up any of our links from those respective sites. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance. - Patrick
